I went to this restaurant knowing it would be highly sophisticated and probably not really Italian based on the menu selection. I was right. This is not the restaurant you go to for authentic Italian but the restaurant you go to for authentic! Every dish was visually appealing and a dance on your tastebuds. Being from California we were at a loss on which wine to select so we selected a 2009 French red that was outstanding. Upon entry you are given a variety of breads with homemade butter. The only thing that would have made them better was if they were served warm. This restaurant is one to try once for a special occasion. It's an event not a place you go to weekly for your Italian fix. It's VERY expensive (least expensive price fixe menu is $78 USD) and everything else adds up pretty quickly. But really you can't find this type of restaurant just anywhere.
