The Cerulean is an excellent alternative to some better known hotels in Tokyo and offers stunning views of the city at a fraction of the price of, say, the Park Hyatt (the latter remaining my favourite hotel in Tokyo). Check-in was friendly and efficient and we were upgraded to a higher floor than the one we booked. Rooms are certainly spacious by Japanese standards, as well as comfortable, with a modern design style (nothing extravagant however). Room service both good and efficient. I would definitely recommend the (top floor) Hotel bar, for drinks and/or a light meal.
The hotel is very conveniently located next to Shibuya station, although you may want to plan the best route beforehand, if you are walking there with bulky luggage.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its swimming pool, really enjoyable, and quiet (just be aware that its depth is severely limited, probably Health & Safety regs.).More
