We stayed here in June 2012 and found it to be everything we had hoped for. Close to bustling Shinjuku station and the surrounding attractions, quite easy to get to by train from Narita International, comfortable, well cared for, and staffed by unfailingly polite and helpful staff. The room was reasonably spacious with a personal safe and an empty fridge which could be filled with provisions from the well-stocked, and not badly priced, lobby shop. Our only problem with the room was the bed had a very thick doona and no other bedding options. Given we don't like sleeping with the a/c on this is a problem for us generally. The hotel restaurants are expensive (but probably not by general hotel standards) but it is close to the Takeshita and Lumine 1 department stores which have a wide range of quality restaurants on their upper floors. Or else you can venture into the areas near the station for a more adventurous restaurant experience.

Room Tip: Make your first tourist exploration a walk to the Metropolitan Government building for an excellent free tour, a magnificent 360 panorama of the city from level 45 (also free), and the opportunity to obtain much more tourist information about Tokyo and Shinjuku from the tourist office on the ground floor.

We were lucky to visit Japan as a family and the last few days of our trip were spent in Tokyo at the Hotet Century Southern Tower. It was relatively easy to find and only a short walking distance from the very busy Shinjuku train station. We had heard tails from others who had gotten lost trying to find their hotels so it was important not to get lost. Check it was efficient and welcoming. The lobby bar, while costly, like everything in Tokyo, affords a breathtaking view of the city and is a relaxing place for a drink and snack. The rooms are a good size, very clean and the beds very comfortable. We would stay there again.

After reading so many reviews on TripAdvisor we booked the Century Southern tower hotel, getting to the hotel from Narita was very easy and only a short walk from Shinjuku station. Check in was quick after such a long flight, the hotel is in a great location for getting around Tokyo. We had never been to Tokyo before, but we will be going back and will stay at the Century Southern again.

Room Tip: Get a city view, its a great sight at night!

Stayed with my boyfriend for a week. Good location (once you worked out which exit of the station to go to!) and the rooms were really nice considering the price. Would stay there again.

This was a spur of the moment trip with two other girl friends and this hotel was perfect for location, places to eat, transport, shopping. We had an amazing trip that was too short!!! I couldn't have wanted more from a hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and will stay here again definately. I wouldn't even bother, for myself to look anywhere else to find a better location and quality of hotel. Planning another trip soon!!

Room Tip: Shared a twin room and was really happy. Just a great hotel room that you would get for the same money in AUS or USA, etc. Probaby better...love the Japanese toilets!!! Want one!!
