Stayed for 2 nights with 2 rooms for family of four. Excellent location by Shinjuku station so travel was very easy. Rooms were small but well appointed and clean - free wi-fi, etc. No room service but by a wine in the lobby shop and take it back - much better value.

One tip - avoid breakfast at 2,600 yen per head and go out towards the station for 2 mins for the very good french boulangerie for breakfast instead!

The hotel is very pleasant. Three of us shared a room, although it was a little cozy, it was perfectly comfortable. It was very tidy and we had fresh bottles of water each day. We also had a pot to boil water for coffee and tea. There were a number of very nice extras like slippers, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and more. Large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were in the bath. Very nice compared to the silly little bottles we have in the states.

The hotel gift shop has some essentials in the way of umbrellas and such, but also a good selection of snacks and beverages. There are several good restaurants located in the building with the hotel. We tried Italian and Mexican (of all things to eat in Tokyo!) but we were tired and it was very convenient and the food decent. There are many options nearby as well, the grocery store in the shopping complex was great for a take away meal, in addition to your choice of restaurants. There is a french pastry shop close closer to the train station entrances. The next best thing to being in France! Fabulous chocolate croissants and much more!

The lobby is located on the 20th floor and offers wonderful views, as do the rooms. I would gladly stay there again and am happy to recommend this hotel. I was there for 9 nights.

Room Tip: I saw rooms on two sides of the hotel and both were enjoyable panoramic views of the city. I was on...

The first impressions are great of this hotel, but any expectations of good service were soon reduced to zero. Stayed here for a week while on business.

Location of the hotel is pretty good, rather close to Shinjuku main station and some cool parts of Tokyo.

The lobby on floor 20 is a great space with a really nice looking bar. Check in was quick and efficient and quite friendly. I wanted to go sit in the bar area to plan my day ahead and charge my iPad, but was not allowed in for some unknown reason.

The room itself is not huge, however for Japan standards I felt very comfortable in a king bed. View was great. Overall the room was clean, bathroom not bad but a rather dated. Shower curtains and low grade amenities detract from the quality.

There is no room service. None. Nothing in my mini bar fridge and no snacks. There is a small shop downstairs if you want to buy anything.

Breakfast - all important mark of a quality hotel that was not delivered very well. This is standard hotel breakfast fare, but far below being an amazing selection of Western and international selections.

Was allowed to drink in the bar one night. Generally slow service and lack of atmosphere. Plenty of other place to go and see I none of the worlds great cities, so don't waste time in a hotel bar unless necessary!

Overall - would I stay here again? Maybe, but would check out other options in case anything stands out.

Pease give me a helpful vote if you liked this review!

We booked 2 rooms as our family has 2 adults and 3 children. The hotel size is comfortable and very clean. Free WIfi in the room comes in very handy. Hotel staff is ever so willing to give directions to where we want to go. However their English does need to brush up a little. Location is a BIG plus as it is just 5 min fm the Southern terrace exit of Shinjuku station. Eateries can be found easily where we settled breakfast. Will be back should we come to Tokyo again!

Century Southern Tower was a great hotel, very clean and comfortable. As expected for the price with great views. However, the best feature of this hotel is the location. A short stroll across the bridge to a huge department store (Takashimaya) including restaurants and a superb food hall. And lots more within walking distance. The Shinjuku station is right below the hotel, making travel very easy. I recommend taking the New Southern Exit if you arrive via train. Would stay here again.

I was there for three nights (not my first visit to Tokyo) after 5 days at St. Regis Osaka and although the Century is not in the same league is a good choice either.

IMHO Shinkuju is the best area to stay in Tokyo so I wanted an hotel there. The Century is just few minutes from Shinjuku train station with direct connections to Narita Airport wich is very convenient.

Arrival and check-in was simple and efficient as there are many clerks. No luggage service so don't expect anyone to carry your suitcase to your room as this is a 4* Hotel.

My room was a Panoramic King...after the St. Regis I wasn't ready for something claustrophobic :)
Views from the room (floor 32) were breathtaking. I'd say not fit for people with vertigo. Panoramic windows are huge and offer to you and incredible vision of Tokyo. Sheers are controlled by a remote control so you can raise and lower it from the bed.

Room was renewed with taste although a bit impersonal. The bed is really comfortable and overall the size of the room is good.
Bathroom is fine too but not paired with the room. For sure is spotless. Different kind of towels are provided along with some basic toiletries. Don't like curtains in the bathtub but this is a personal taste. Soap and shampoo is provided by Shiseido in refillable bottles.

There's free internet and Smart TV (you can check websites from the TV). Slippers and a yukata is provided too.

Regarding the hotel services cant' tell about the restaurants (I found it quite expensive) but the bar has an interesting Happy Hour and there's a little convenience store next to the elevators.

Just oposite the Hotel, there are the Takashimaya department store and Tokyu Hands (can't miss it).

In summary, not the cheapest option but a very good option to stay in Tokyo close to the main spots within a walkable distance or steps away from the Shinjuku rail/metro station from where you can squeeze a little more your Japan Rail Pass.

ps: Can't recommend the Mexican restaurant placed in the basement of the building...they use the same oil to fry everything.

Fantastic location. The rooms were refurbished and were very new. The rooms were also very spacious as compared to other hotels in Tokyo. The only minor negative I would say about the hotel was that early check-ins and late check-outs are near-impossible. It would have been great to have a bit more flexible in check-in/check-out times.
