Fourth time in Shibuya and fourth time staying at this hotel. Love this hotel, the service, the staff, the cleanliness and especially the location. Right in the heart of the city with access to tons of restaurants, shops, train, malls, etc. Lively area and fun! Yes, the rooms are a bit small but that is to be expected in most of Japan.

I spent 7 nights on the 22nd floor. Higher floor = better view and a more spacious feel. Ask for a view over Yoyogi Park.

The room was comfortable. Small but not bad by Tokyo standards. The bed and pillows were really good and bathroom was fine.

No wifi (free or otherwise) really p'd me off. That said, the lack of casual wifi access in Japan is a national disgrace. Make sure you rent a pocket wifi when you arrive at the airport (softbank seems to work best).

They had free cable based internet but no good if you have an iPad.

Never ate at the hotel restaurants - they were expensive compared to the hundreds of small bar/restaurants in the immediate area. The food was divine and the atmosphere was great.

No movie channels or pay per view movie channels so non-Japanese speakers are stuck with CNN or BBC only. Take a good book or plan to be out unless you are sleeping.

The service was good and everything went very smoothly.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Yoyogi Park

I love this hotel cause of several reasons: location (its sitting on top of Shibuya MRT station). Apparently cause of this, this is supposed to be the safest building in Tokyo. It has a ladies floor - so if you're a lone lady travelling for biz this is perfect! They offer completer toilettries. Its clean and they have comfortable beds. The room is just right. It isnt that spacious but its good enough. Check in and check out service is super efficient too. Its right in the heart of the shopping area -everything is a stone's throw away-Shibuya 109, international brands, small boutique shops. Also, really nice restaurants are walkable. I can really recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Stay in room ending in 01-05 if you wanna have a view of the famous Shibuya crossing

This is my third stay at this this hotel, and it seems the rooms just keep getting smaller. I know its Tokyo, but these are small rooms. I keep coming back because of the location, the best in the city I think. It is less than a 5 minute walk, all indoors to the Shibuya train station, and from there you can be anyplace in Tokyo in 30 minutes. And the area around the hotel is packed with things to do 24\7. Great restaurants and shopping, and the best people watching anywhere!

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant on the top floor serves a good breakfast, both western and Asian for a “reasonable” price. The amazing view is a great way to start any day.

I was taking shelter at this hotel exactly a year before, when that great earthquake struck. I wasn't a guest, but being a foreigner in a foreign land, I was simply hoping to gather more info bat the situation. I was with my elderly mom, and we were made to feel as comfortable as possible, given bed sheets, warm food and drinks . Some kind fellow- country men offered us a room by 3 am as they had decided to make their way to the airport to catch the earliest flight home.

We got to see and use their rooms first hand - very spacious compared to the usual shoe boxes associated with rooms in Tokyo. Beds are comfy and good shower too! Would choose to stay here again..
