Although i love staying in Sunroute Plaza when i'm in Tokyo coz its in one of the best part of Tokyo, Shinjuku.... Rooms are really nice, ders no type of sound disturbance in the rooms but the rooms are really compact. I'm a big guy n for me its really hard to move in the room without hitting obstacle.

Great hotel to stay!! this is very convenience hotel as it's very close with shinjuku station with lots of choices for shopping and restaurant. The room small but clean and comfortable. we stayed there for 6 night. The staff also very helpful and friendly. I'll be happy to stay at this hotel again for my next visit.

This hotel is really good for first time traveler. If you arrive in Narita, take the Narita express and stop at Shinjuku Station, the hotel is just short walk (5 min) from the station, but please do take note of the correct exit to take. Shinjuku station is really huge! Always take note of north, south, east and west exit.

If u stop at Haneda airport, the airport bus will stop near the shinjuku station as well, and it is also short walk to the hotel.

Some good point of this hotel:
- very clean and nice room, however this is tokyo, so expect small room size :)
- very near to train station, so u can get to anywhere easily, you can also try to walk to shibuya :)
- plenty of restaurant nearby, you can walk up to the restaurant area of shinjuku, plenty of choice available (turn left and walk the way up after u exit from hotel)
- the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful

this is a very busy hotel so might have problem for early check in.

Hotel is great value and well located in terms of public transport and dining, but it's the staff at this hotel that clinch the deal. At check-in and check-out, and whenever I made an enquiry I received the most exceptional, courteous, helpful and friendly service from each staff member I had contact with - there are always staff at hand that speak English.
Highly recommended ! Best location, convenient and friendly staff.

Not only is the hotel in a location that couldn't be more central to main Tokyo, as it's so close to Shinjuku station (and Yoyogi as well) -- it's modern and clean, with an English-speaking staff.

It was a perfect home base as we explored the many different neighborhoods, and when we were trying to find places that weren't easy to find on Google Maps, the staff would help us with detailed directions.

Rooms are quiet, the rooms are comfortable and I wouldn't even call them small; soaking bathtubs are a decent size. Regarding price, I've paid more for terrible rooms in the States -- and it's absolutely worth it for the convenience. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: The Wi-Fi seems to work much better on lower floors.

This is mostly a Japanese business hotel, but it's very affordable given the location. Rooms are tiny but come with all the amenities crammed in. Breakfast is hot and very good. And best of all this hotel is 5 mins from Shinjuku station and a number of other shopping and eating attractions.

I've stayed here on two separate occasions coming in from Narita on the express train and staying a couple of days during a long transit.

Room Tip: Worth getting the breakfast

We stayed at Sunroute Plaza for 2 Nights. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, the other back in 2010.

The location is ideal - 2 mins walk from JR Shinjuku station.

The rooms are small at the lower tariff end, but average for Tokyo. They are very well appointed and have CNN cable TV.

Beds are small doubles but very comfortable.

The hotel is very popular with westerners probably due to the location and access to & from Narita Airport by bus that stops undercover at the hotel.

English is well spoken and the handling process of checkin & out is handled very efficiently. Checkout time is 11am which is great.

Breakfast if included is amazing. It really is a 5 star smorgasbord spread with many cuisines represented.

The only negative comment I could make is, given we have now spent considerable time in Tokyo, there are better and less expensive hotel options available. But for a first time visit and wanting a feeling of being comfortable with access , location and a western type front end, this hotel fits the bill.
