I stayed 10 days in January, the third year in a row that I've picked the hotel. Excellent location near Shinjuku Station, a short trundle from the Airport Limousine stand, although I do wish the bus would stop at the hotel more often. The staff are excellent and warm. Patient too, because they helped me make a raft of restaurant reservations. Clean rooms, mostly quiet.

We stayed here for 7 nights in late January and was pleasantly surprised that all the positive reviews I read on TripAdvisor turned out to be true.

Checking-in was very smooth and the receptionists were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The Economy Double room was much smaller than I expected, and the pillows were practically flat that we had to request for additional ones, but beyond that I couldn't find any more faults.

The hotel is a mere 4-minute walk to the JR Yamanote line (tip: if you're exiting the train, do not go up the escalator without looking for the South exit first, because once you're in the West exit you can't go back to the South), and along the way there are convenience stores (Family Mart and Lawson), cafes and izakayas, fastfood (McDonald's and Yoshinoya), etc. On the immediate right of the hotel is an exit to the TOEI Line to access other train lines such as the Oedo Line and Keiyo Line, to name a few. There's an airport limousine pickup to Haneda and Narita five times a day right in front of the hotel, but if your flight is in the evening like ours, the airport limousine pickup point in Shinjuku is just a 4 minute walk away near KEIO Mall.

We were given a non-smoking room facing a private street, and despite the low floor it was very quiet and we could hardly hear any noise from outside. We also loved how every floor has a vending machine and an ice machine and that we can just purchase water, drinks and liquor whenever we wanted.

By the way, if you're booking through the hotel official website and you sign up for free hotel membership in the reception, you are eligible to receive 1,000 yen with a minimum number of points depending on the length of your stay. Since we stayed 7 nights we got 1,000 yen at check-out.

All in all, we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and we would definitely book this again when we go back to Tokyo.

We stayed here for 4 nights on our first visit to Tokyo and it was exactly what we wanted. 5 minute walk to all the subway and JR lines at Shinjuku station and you can catch the Narita Express to / from the airport straight to Shinjuku.

We didnt visit the restaurant but the bar and guest lounge were both very nice. There are many eating and drinking options around the station and Is only a 10 minute walk to the golden gai area.

We stayed in an economy double room and it was just the right size given the price - certainly not roomy but given you're out and about exploring in the city - we didn't need a bigger room. Bathroom was a good size.

All in all a great base for tourists keen to be close to transport and wanting comfort for a reasonable price.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station, as long as you exit from the South exit of the Shinjuku JR station. We took the NEX to the hotel as the Airport Limousine bus was not operating at the time of our arrival, and found the hotel quite easily. Kabukicho and lots of department stores are located near the JR station, so it's a very convenient location to be in. Especially for the price we paid.

There are some eateries nearby (a sushi restaurant, a 24-hour eatery, Yoshinoya and some coffee houses) and a Family Mart convenience store just facing the hotel. Also, there's a Gontran Cherrier bakery just a 3 minute walk away. What more could you ask for? You'll never be hungry in Tokyo.

Yes, the rooms are small. We booked an Economy Double Room, and there wasn't much space to walk after your suitcases are open. But I still managed to place my yoga mat in the narrow walkway near the door, and even did some crunches on the floor, so it's all good. The wifi signal was strong, but strangely I couldn't access any website from our corner room. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft for my liking. Requested for another pillow, which they promptly delivered in less than 5 minutes. Very efficient. No complimentary mineral water is provided, so you gotta get your own bottles.

They allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel when we left Tokyo for a 5-day trip to Kyoto and Osaka. Think I read reviews that they didn't allow some customers to do that if you don't have another booking with the hotel upon your return. But I didn't encounter any problems and they simply asked when we would be back to collect our luggage.

The front desk reception staff could speak relatively good English. They were fast and efficient, but what was missing was a warm smile. We didn't feel very welcome but that's okay!

I'll definitely be back!

Location is fantastic & the proximity to both JR Shinjuku (5 mins) & Metro (entrance next door) meant easy & quick access every day & short walk home after long days of sightseeing.

We travelled at the start of the New Year (arr Jan 1) which is traditionally a quiet time. The area was quiet, our room was on the 12th floor & street noise was not noticed.

Chose to use the breakfast buffet option in payment plan. Wide variety of options that cater for many cultures. Are also plenty of food options in both prices & styles nearby, even during the quiet time of year we were there. As well as shopping with Times Square in easy walking distance.

Were in an economy double room. Yes, the rooms are small by Western standards. Husband & I are not small, however the room (& bathroom) were sufficient for our needs, with everything in its place (& in working order). Very much enjoyed the deep bath at the end of long days of being out. The water pressure was good & the hot water was very hot.

Tip - we had 2 suitcases end-end & using "pockets" (mesh bags) made this set up very easy. Rather than constantly emptying onto bed, the ability to pull out what was needed made it easier to live with.

WiFi was strong in our room (& in lobby). Need to ask for two passwords at check-in (one for room & one for lobby area).

Staff were friendly & helpful on check-in/check-out as well as during the week when we had questions.

Using Trip Advisor for realistic photos & the reviews of others helped to determine our choice of this hotel & it was exactly what we expected. No unrealistic expectations or surprises, which after the long flight was great.

Would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: Including breakfast is worth it.
