“Great for one night stay over in japan”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

We stayed here on a layover in japan and the room was tiny but great with some very well considered touches! The shower was really good. It's a straight shoot to shibuya station to get back to the airport and a great value for the price. Would definitely recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. We were just in Tokyo for the weekend and wanted to go out and enjoy the nightlife. The location was wonderful for us to walk to all the surrounding areas within Shibuya and experience the good nightlife scene. The hotel checks in at 3:00 and check out at 11:00 am was also nice as sometimes Tokyo hotels make you check out quite early (9am or so). The hotel is also quite reasonably priced considering the location is so convenient.
Our room was small but it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The room included free wifi, toiletries, robes, tv, and fridge. There was also a surprising nice view from our window on the 14th floor. My boyfriend and I both agree that we would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again!

Pros:
- location (walkable distance to 'happening' areas, but far enough to get a quiet night's sleep)
- reasonable price
- the typical complimentary japanese items such as free bottled water, toothbrushes, hair brushes, body/shampoo/conditioner, q-tips, sponges
- very polite and helpful staff with enough English to get what you need
- if put up your "do not disturb sign", you'll get a bag with clean towels, new water bottles, and new complimentary items.
- A lawson's (like a 7-eleven convenience store) is right outside the hotel, so you can get drinks & snacks anytime.

Cons:
- Small rooms and bathrooms, but expected in Tokyo
- Only 1 washer and 1 dryer in the entire hotel. So there's a longer wait if it's in use
- The room was clean enough, but slightly dirty in that parts of the carpet seemed sticky (like someone stuck gum there) and the wallpaper had some noticable stains.
- I went during the summer and it's very hot & humid. They don't turn on the air conditioning in the hallways!

Tips:
- make sure to tell them to book a room far from the elevator. This is especially important with Tokyo hotels because they save space by building up instead of wide. So you're more likely to get a noisy elevator room!

I would stay at this hotel again

Room Tip: make sure to tell them to book a room far from the elevator. This is especially important with Tokyo...

The location is terrific in Shibuya close to the station and the chaos and wonder of the heart of Shibuya.

The room however was very cramped and while facing the back, the only window for safety reasons wouldn't open more than 6" and was also frosted not that there was much of a view but still clear glass would have been good.

The air conditioning really works making the room very, very cold if that's what you're after. There were no problems with the WIFI access. The television is massive probably the biggest I've seen in a hotel room.

There is a good stock of toiletries in the cramped bathroom and while the shower and the bath work, its all just a bit too cramped.

I don't know what the restaurant/bar/cafe is like since it was closed for refurbishment however with its location to the shopping artery of Shibuya, its not hard to find convenience stores or cafes.

This hotel is in a great location, it is within a few minutes walk of many restaurants, bars, shops and the Metro. The rooms are very small and could be bit of a problem if there were two people sharing a room. The rooms were very clean had good free wifi, air conditioning and a fridge. They even gave you a free bottle of water every day. The bathroom was tiny but very usable and clean. The only complaint I would have is that there were only 2 hooks to hang clothes up on and no other storage space so I had to live out of my suitcase, which would be fine for a day or two but for a week was very inconvenient. Overall though I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

Recommended for all. Clean bedsheet, 5 mins to JR line (shibuya), cold air-cond (extremely important if u travel in summer time), 10mins to shibuya shopping district, lotsa eateries along the way and heaps of convenient store near this hotel.
Internet is very good too.
However the room size is kinda small but it's norm in Japan.

I stayed for 2 nights in April. The location is convenient, you can walk all around Shibuya and to Harajuku.

One of the staff spoke great english, so if the others had trouble helping me or communicating, they'd get him. Check in was a breeze. They will copy your passport, give you a little welcome gift (some beer and liquor if you drink), and you're off to your room. Wifi is free throughout the hotel. You will get a password when you check in.

The room itself was very nice, very clean, house slippers and kimono robe provided as well as toiletries. There is a small fridge in the room, which was great. Laundy on site for your use on the basement level, near the restaurant. It is coin operated. The front desk will also hold your bags for you before your check in (if you're early) or after check out (if you plan to sight see a bit more before leaving).

There are tons of places to eat in the area, lost of convenient stores to get some japanese snacks to take back home.

You also get a ticket for late check out if you choose to use it. Overall, I highly recommend and would stay here again.
