Citadines Tokyo offers reasonably priced rooms, each with kitchenette. This hotel seems to get a lot of traffic, so the common areas looked a bit worn. Overall, though, the room was comfortable and a good value. The staff was bilingual, friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic - walkable to Shinjuku station, or even faster from the nearby Sanchome subway station. Also near the bars of Shinjuku Nichome and Kabukicho. This is a place for independent types -- there is no restaurant, and the morning breakfast buffet is just average. That said, there are lots of great street food options nearby, and a 7-Eleven convenience store directly downstairs.

Stayed here for 3 nights and am very pleased with the stay. The unit is a good size with the small kitchen allowed one to have a simple meal in the unit. This is Tokyo so the size of the unit for a prize is worth it. It is a 2 stops from the heart of Shinjuku and the neighborhood is very quiet so always having a good night sleep. There are small eateries around and 7 eleven is next door makes it very convenient. I will stay hear again.

We stayed here for 1 week. It was ideal-the staff were excellent. The room was very nicely appointed-with a tiny kitchen area, microwave, fridge and cooker. A security box was a welcome addition. We did not eat at the restaurant but mad our own meal. the hotel is near all the frenetic activity of Shinjuku.

We booked this Citadines as a base for our short stay in Tokyo, we thought it to be ideal.

The check-in was efficient, helpful and friendly, the room was a good size, especially for Tokyo on this budget, and very comfortable. Whilst we didn't cook there was a reasonable kitchen, it's worth noting that a drink pack is only provided once.

We thought the location to be ideal, minutes away from the Metro and then only one stop to the bright lights of Shinjuku. There is a short road nearby which has a good selection of restaurants, mostly Japanese but they were pretty good and reasonably priced. It's worth noting that as this seems to be a business district a number were closed on Sunday.

We gave up our room to travel to Mt Fuji and the hotel stored our bags free of charge, they are kept in the reception area, not secure but within sight of the staff.

All in all a great stay and an ideal base for Tokyo.

Room Tip: All pretty standard.

We stayed at Citadines for 9 days while in Tokyo. It is in a great location, about a 6 minute walk from Isetan / shinjuku station. We had great friendly staff who were able to speak English and even left a present on the bed for my birthday! Breakfast was average but as far as breakfast goes in Japan for us Australians it was the best we could find - bacon and eggs just is not a menu option in shinjuku, not that we could find anyway!! The size of the rooms were decent compared to a lot of Japanese rooms and the beds are extremely comfortable! Cleaning was done daily.
