I would probably look here first on my return visits to Japan because the hotel combines economy, space and proximity.
The check in was terrific. The young employees behind the counter were friendly, professional and provided a fast check-in and knowledge about the local area. The surrounding area is good for folks who want to be a short walk away from the lights and glitter of Shinjuku and care to retire to a more subdued area.
The rooms offer small kitchens with all that you would want, a bedroom that can be separated, ample closet space and the room is large enough to provide access on both sides of the bed. There is a nice supermarket two blocks away, and restaurants and small pubs are all around. It was nice having a view of the street out front.
The television was limited and the only English channels were of the Fake News variety but the internet was excellent and we were allowed to stream real channels with ease.More
