“nice and quiet”

quiet and out of the way from the busyness of shinjuku, and a different vibe compared to some of the other shrines in the area and around tokyo

“If you havent see other shrine visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2013

In my view this is pretty standard shrine and no need to make a trek here as there are 100s of them in Japan and many are more impressive. However, if you are on business in Shinjuku for a limited time and want to get the shrine exprience this shrine would suffice. We pumped into a wedding couple having their photoshoot and it was a nice bonus for my kids who were really interested in the Japanese wedding costumes.

“Cute abd tranquil”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2013 via mobile

I wandered over to this shrine as it was over the road from my hotel.
The walk through the park to get there was quite upsetting as it had a lot of homeless people in, sleeping on the grass.
The shrine itself was beautiful. Like most of the shrines I've seen inTokyo.
