On the positive side, this hotel is very well located (I stayed there when running the Marathon, and the location couldn't possibly have been any better). It's a large hotel with many restaurants and very helpful staff.
On the other it's really very "tired" now, and that shows. Make sure you get one of the recently refurbished rooms in the Main Tower, and even then don't set your expectations too high.
The UN recently declared broadband Internet access to be a basic human right. It's very disappointing therefore that a large hotel in the centre of Tokyo can't deliver that throughout their property, and when they do (in areas) the service is very patchy and slow. Amazing!
Would I return? If I wanted location at a (relative) budget cost then probably yes. If I wanted all the amienities that I think most travellers expect of a modern City Centre hotel, then probably not
