I've been to Tokyo many times and I like to stay in Shinjuku. I was here for business and had an opportunity to stay at the iconic Park Hyatt Tokyo. From check-in to check-out, every one of my expectations was met.

There are many photos here that show how beautiful the hotel and the views are. So, I'll talk about the service. The concierge was so helpful with the usual (making dinner reservations, exchanging our American dollars to Japanese yen, etc). What was really nice was how we were able to send our luggage to Osaka (so we wouldn't have to negotiate around the shinkansen with all our luggage). The concierge filled out all our paperwork (for Yamato Transport) and when we arrived in Osaka, our luggage was already there. Like magic. :) With my group of 5, we had 11 suitcases/bags between us. So this was incredible.

The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and there are many things to choose from.

My only gripe with this place is how far it is from the Subway. It is a pretty healthy walk. That being said, if I had the opportunity to stay here again....i def would.

Nothing to say, just perfect! The location, the bar/restaurant on top of the building with a breathless view of the city (good food, good sushi). The fitness center kept very well and the swiming pool as well. What to say bad? Maybe it's a bit expensive but it's worth it.

Room Tip: I stay at the # 610!

I have just spent two nights at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo and it was a fantastic experience. This hotel has it all----discreet elegance, amazing views in an unconventional building and an excellent gym, spa and swimming pool also with commanding views. The food is excellent but what makes this place shine is the staff. Quality and customer service are clearly built into the DNA of this hotel and it shows. From the warm, fast and efficient welcome on arrival, to the concierge who ran after my taxi to give the driver better directions of where I wanted to go, to the super polite staff at breakfast, the senior manager who secured a table for us when the New York Grill was full and to the polite and efficient staff at check-out---everything was flawless. This was made even better by the Hotel General Manager, Philippe Roux-Dessarps, dropping by at breakfast to find out how my stay was going. This hotel achieves what very few hotels manage to do---combine excellent systems with warm, friendly and discreet service. I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions over the last 20years but this was the first time when I was not a business trip so I had more time to appreciate and observe what a stunning place this is. The Park Hyatt is never a cheap option but with staff of this calibre and systems that sing , it is worth every single penny.

Room Tip: The hotel reception is on the 41st Floor so all rooms are above that and have unobstructed views of...

Excellent hotel but at a cost. Centrally located for most business travelers. Very nice rooms, solid in house restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Top floor steakhouse is amazing but be prepared to pay the price for the finest Japanese Steak in the world. English is widely spoken here. Highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I spent two weeks in Japan and our last night was at the Park Hyatt. Worth every penny! The view was breathtaking from our room. We did spa access to enjoy one last onsen as an added bonus. Staff hand holding was a bit much for us, but the service was great. We appreciated being able to speak English. Spend the money- you won't regret it!

The 4words we need in every moment Of any stay

This hôtel its magnificent

U fill the definition of CHIC
( but not old)

Am very tuff with people but never rude,

I just know what I want
And what I don't.
I m never surprise about the answer and always think it can be better...

This time
I m surprise and happy..

I was till now fed up to spend 10 days in same hotel in Tokyo , and this time I shorted my stay and changed the hitel for this one...

After 20 years coming in this fantastic city

I tryed cerulean ( discusting)
Peninsula ( far far away)
Shangrila (so so)

I always tought it was a big lack of good hotels...

No more...

Great Location ,

Nice , chic , helpful people upon your arriving

They care and they are not smiling like cartoons for nothing

Very eficient
And it's what I need after a long flight from paris

Room are ready before than previews

People know your name at first contact

Room service try to satisfy your needs anytime
Even if your needs are not on menu

Beautiful room

So chic colours

Almond vanilla grey black with touch of ebony and maple...

I never like hotels rooms
Because they avoid aesthetic for practical..
And thoses rooms are the greatest I never had , more than useful but surended by chic ...

Now it's time for breakfast
And I don't want to miss it

If u want to spend the greatest stay in Tokyo... This is your new address...

For sure is mine

This hotel really has it all and on top of that executes well.
Initially I was surprised that the hotel started on the 41st floor but then you get it . .. the views are amazing! Ordinarily you expect views from restaurants and rooms but this place has phenomenal views from the gym as well :) Start your day on a bike looking over Tokyo! The only bummer was that the skies were hazy the 2 days we were there and we did not get a view of Mt. Fuji (which I understand you can see from the hotel on a clear day!).
The gym and pool are well beyond the average hotel. I can't remember the last time they offered flippers, googles, fins and the works at a hotel pool! The spa area is fantastic with a fully equipped hot tub and sauna area.
The rooms are vey well appointed and for the first time I began to understand the bathing culture in Japan! I am going to miss that tub and of all strange things the loofas!!!
Breakfast was good (my son loved the fresh honey off the hive), cocktail hour beautiful (again with Tokyo night time views).
Service was impeccable.
If budget is not an issue, don't stay anywhere else in Tokyo.
