The location of the hotel is ok, and it looks good from the outside. The room looked ok when I first saw it, but staying there wasn't so nice.

The beds are very hard, you have to have the tv on when you want to use the internet connection, but the worst part is that you can't open any windows, and the room is very damp. You could even see water droplets on the windows in the morning.

One double bed wide 2 double beds deep and thats it. It is a good hotel, friendly staff and fast internet, (well compared to Australia). My only issue a 2 pm check in which is a long time after a 6 am flight from Sydney.. no complaints it is a good place to stay.

This is one of the cheaper hotels located in the middle of Shinjuku. The location is good, as it is connected to the airport by airport limousine and Shinjuku station by an underground walkway 10 min away. There is also a convenient supermarket on the ground floor, and offers choice of buffet or Japanese breakfasts. The hotel staff speak good English and gave a good recommendation for a decent ramen shop 5 min away next to the LABI building.

The rooms are very small and more suitable for solo travellers rather than families. Nonetheless, they are clean. The pillows had a strange lumpy filling but they provide additional normal pillows for use. The walls are very thin and if there are crowds coming through the corridors (as this place caters to big tour groups), it can get rather noisy. All in all, a basic 3-star hotel good for a night's stay.

i'll cut the chase and make this fast

1) Location - 5 stars
2) Room Size - Small (but i'm fine with it)
3) Service - 3 stars (it's a 3 star hotel, what did you expect? .. a red carpet?)
4) Cleanliness - Clean

Family mart downstairs which is 24/7 and approximately 10 mins walk to Shinjuku Station. So the location is superb for this one in Shinjuku area. Airport Limousine bus stops and picks up from this hotel as well.

Yes, i would stay here again if i'm on a tight budget :)

15 mintues and you can be in the middle of that Shinjuku can offer. The rooms are a bit on the small side but comfortable and clean. Plenty of small restaurants and there is also a small super market on the ground floor of the hotel. There is hardly anything clled a foyer as it is on the third floor with a very crowded small area for checking in and out. Big suit cases may be a problem with the narrow elevators.

Some distance away from Shinjuku Main Station, but we have no problem with 15mins walk during my 7nights stay. In the hotel building itself, there's plenty of restaurants, cafes & convenient mart. Quite a few good food joints around the area. But on my arrival upon check in, i encountered a not so polite front desk male personnel. On other days, the rest were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were friendly and greet you everytime we passed by. The pillow were so flat that I had to use the bathrobe layered below their pillow. Room is no doubt VERY VERY SMALL but I love the bathroom, though is small but u get everything u need. I especially like the 'deep' bathtub

Shinjuku Washington provided a nice place to stay for my first trip to Tokyo. It's just a few blocks from Shinjuku Station, so getting to/from it is easy and you're a short train ride from anywhere in Tokyo, or the nightlife in Shinjuku area.
