“great value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

The check-in and check-out process was quick and hassle-free - plenty of staff at the front desk on the ready, and there were no problems with communicating with them; the rooms were small (which is the standard in Japan) but everything you need is available, and the amenities were plentiful; room was always very clean, safe and secure; free shuttle bus between hotel and Shinjinku station was a bonus but fills up very quickly; plenty of shops by the hotel for to pick up convenience items for your room, and any real shopping can be done in the main Shinjinku district. Hotel was great value for money

Really is just a hotel and somewhere to put your head at night. Very basic hotel. Best service is the free bus to the train station. Leaves very twenty minutes. Hotel facilities are very basic. Upon arrival the booking was a little confused but was sorted out. No fancy room service or concierge. TV is all pay per view if you don't watch the local Japanese speaking channels

We stayed 7 nights in Shinjuku due to son living nearby. The location is ideal, across the road from the park which is relaxing after the madness of the Shinjuku area. Nearby by the Govt. Buildings which included the free observatory (80+ floors), sensational views. Limited times with shuttle service to/from the station. Hotel needs a facelift in the foyer, our double bedroom was a good size, bathroom was ok & clean. The bed was too hard for my light weight partner! .. but this was fixed by obtaining extra rugs. The reception service was always helpful. We didnt use the restraurant for breakfast - looked too pricy for what we received so we just went down to the local supermarket approx 10mins away. We got wifi in room but there are PC's in the foyer (pay), Recommend, good value for money!

We stayed there 5 days. The hotel is perfectly situated, just 7-10 min walk to the Shinjuku station. They have a shuttle bus which will take you to the station every half hour.
Some of the rooms overlook a nice park, perfect for a morning jogg or to observe tai chi. There are several cafes and supermarkets nearby, just meters away is the City Hall with its Observatory towers (definitely worth going!). The rooms are perfectly clean, maids even folded my pyjamas everyday :) Free wifi is of good speed, breakfasts are decent. Although communication problems occured the staff was very nice and helpful.

Stayed 9 days. After a while the breakfast got old because they basically alternated two menus. The food was either luke warm or cold.
They were helpful at the front desk when my wife was sick and we needed to find a doctor.

We spent 19 nights in total based at this hotel throughout September 2013. While not a new hotel by any means, it's location is ideal if you want to escape the madness of Shinjuku Station and surrounding area. The area is comfortably quiet which gives you the opportunity to explore thoroughly. The park across the road is a fantastic escape right in the middle of Shinjuku. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, considering it is an amazingly busy hotel due to accomodating tour groups continuously. Fantastic view of Mt Fuji from the windows on14th floor. The rooms are typical size for this style of Hotel, but always clean. Many varieties of eateries in the nearby area, without needing to go into the station vicinity, if you so wish.

We booked this hotel due to the location based on our itinerary. It has a shuttle service from Shinjuku station every 15 minutes, but you can walk towards the hotel if you're not in a hurry or if you're not holding many things with you. Hotel staff were accomodating and pleasant.

Wifi connections are only located at the hotel lobby, but since our room is towards the end and I think our room was just above the reception area, I can still get a wifi connection inside our room; otherwise, you can use lan connection.

You can see a lot of Japanese students checking in here for exams. Overall, I would use this hotel again for future trips to Japan.
