“Reasonable prices, great location, comfortable room”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

This hotel provide great services~! Their staff are friendly and helpful, with great English speaking and understanding. Their hotel location almost perfect~
Their room is great in clean and comfort.
Only bad thing is their air ventilation in room not so good, i'm a smoker, so request for a smoking room, but the smoking floor is very strong in smoke smell.
So i request for a non smoking room, but it still smell of smoke, but still acceptable condition. Not recommend for non smoker~!

Room Tip: If you are non smoker or even a smoker, please choose a non smoking room/floor. Nothing to cheer ab...

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights earlier this week on route to Matsumoto to attend my partner's brother's wedding. Although the Rose Garden was chosen for us it was perfect. Very clean hotel and just great staff. Breakfast was really good and you could have as much as you like. We did not have dinner as we ate out whist exploring the city. On our last night on returning to the room we found a 50 per cent off dinner voucher that the staff had left us. All in all a great run hotel in a perfect location. I was not intending to leave a review but I went to check out the reviews of like minded people. For all of the people using negative reviews I suggest that you 1: Get a life and 2: Go back to your perfect little worlds.

This hotel is an excellent value for Shinjuku. Room pricing via any online travel agency is very competitive for this area. The hotel is located in a fantastic area - it's right next to the Nishi-shinjuku subway stop, and a block or two from a 7-Eleven convenience store (which of course has an ATM that accepts foreign/US ATM cards). The JR Shinjuku station and Kabukicho are all within walking distance of the hotel.

The lobby is open 24 hours a day, and the hotel uses magnetic strip cards for room access (many Tokyo hotels use old-style keys which are highly inconvenient to carry around or leave at reception). The reception staff had no issues understanding and speaking English. The high-speed internet was reliable and fast - LAN cables were available for a 500 yen deposit at the front desk.

I stayed in a semi-double room, and the room size was typical for any Tokyo hotel (perhaps a tad larger). The room had a small closet, a LCD TV, a small refrigerator, trouser press and the typical Japanese-hotel style bathroom.

I will certainly be staying at this hotel again.

Nothing good, nothing very bad, just an average place where to sleep and go. Beds are a little small and so are the rooms. Clean as all the hotels in Japan. If you can select another one in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a big bed

We arrived on August 7th from Canada and stayed 3 nights with our two teenage daughters. We booked the family room (online/pre-paid) which was made up of 4 beds tightly packed into the room. However, there were 3 double beds and a comfortable cot so each bed gave us all plenty of room to sleep. More importantly, it was very clean and the bathroom was quite large with a separate room for the bath and shower. The sheets and robes were also crisp and clean and the mini bar prices were quite reasonable. It was about 46C degrees with the humidex so the air conditioning in the room was much needed and very efficient. With two teenagers, the McDonald's across the street was helpful for breakfast but there were plenty of great restaurants and noodle houses around for lunch and dinner. We took the Narita Express from the airport to Shinjuku station and walked with our luggage from the main station to the hotel in about 10 minutes. On the way back it was too humid to walk so we took the subway from Nishi-Shinjuku one stop back to the main station which was quite pleasant. With Shinjuku station nearby we were able to travel around the city quite easily on the subway without having to transfer very often. Without luggage, it is a very easy walk up and over the over-pass. Also, the government buildings are only a couple of blocks away and offer the best free views of the city. We would definitely stay there again next time we visit Tokyo.

We stayed here on the advise of my brother a previous guest. Not know Tokyo we wanted something central and happening enough not to be bored after dark.
The hotel is a 10min walk from the huge Shinjuku station or across the road from Nishi Shinjuku metro station. Its probably just as easy to do both. Dragging cases though is a pain. Once your settled in though the location is great. Its a short walk to Shinjuku but far enough away to be out of the mayhem and quiet enough to get some shut eye once in a while. The staff are beyond brilliant and helped us at every turn including train times, dinner reservations and making sure we had enough of everything without intruding on our Do not disturb sign. One rainy evening upon venturing out for dinner we were stopped 50mtrs up the road by the receptionist who had chased us down to make sure we had umbrellas. Give me super service from the staff over some fancy room amenities any day. The rooms are cramped at best but most people will realise that this is Tokyo and that space is a rare thing. You still get air con, fridge, trouser press etc but you will be living out of your suitcase as there is nowhere to unpack. Not really a concern as I would assume your going to be out seeing the sights and not hanging out in the room all day. The only other think that might have slightly bothered me was the pillows and duvet but not enough to bother them for a change.
