Since the quake and tsunami, i've been thinking abt my Japanese friends, the Kanekos, who own this delightful cosy restaurant and wondering how they are doing and holding up.
I' ve been to this restaurant several times and on the last visit, i had the pleasure of taking my kids to savour the kaiseki unagi course that always delivers....
To top it all off, after our heavenly meal, the masterchef invited my children into the kitchen and gave us a 1st hand experience of what goes on behind the scenes... the kids even got to hold the live eels. Needless to say, they were thrilled to bits.
More so than that, it shows the Japanese hospitality and graciousness that comes across so sincerely and spontaneously. We have got so much to learn from them..
Back to the food...i came across this site, and indeed, its abt their restaurant.. so read away, and if you're in tokyo, try to fit this gem into your itinerary...u wont regret it!
