“Only saw it from outside”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

I was not well and didn't want to spend 2000Y on a visit to the observatory so instead stayed at street level and viewed it from outside. Interesting design and some pretty good pictures can be taken. There is a huge shopping mall underneath with lots of dining options. To go up there is often a wait of 30 plus minutes but you can pre book on line. I have rated this attraction as average simply because I did not see it all. It does seem kind of expensive though. The skytree station is not well signposted so when you go through the ticket barriers you should go right everyone makes the mistake of going left, skytree entrance will be signed if you follow the right side.

“The best way to see Tokyo”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

A group of friends and I went to see the Tokyo Skytree. We were just blown away by the view (and the glass floor)!

“Worth the trip”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 via mobile

We went on a Wednesday in July and had less that a 20 minute wait. View was spectacular. Art work, was spectacular. Stopped at 350 meters and walked around. A little smoggy on a hot humid day. Definitely worth the trip since it is the tallest needle in the world at 600 meters tall.

“Not the best, but good”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 via mobile

My review to this attraction is not the best, unfortunately... View from this tower is nice only in the night time, after sunset. Day time is a real smoke even when the weather is perfect. The round 360 degrees floor is very small, once you step start going around, you're again at you first spot... Not nice. Yes, Tokyo is a city with buildings..., only roofs you see from the heights... So, my suggestion, come just few minutes before sunset and stay until you make best pics and may go. Sorry, but not the best marks...

“The tallest tower worth visiting!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

It's my first time to see the grand view of Tokyo skytree. You could easily spot lots of gift shops there. Though people informed me that the cheapest Tokyo banana can be purchased at Haneda airport (in Tokyo), still you can find different flavors at a shop in Tokyo skytree. Indeed, a visit to Tokyo would never be complete without a paying a visit to Tokyo skytree and Solamachi mall.
