This hotel is excellent, it's a min walk to the Yamamoto line which means you can use your Japan rail to get to most tourist attractions. Wifi works perfectly in the rooms and lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It takes only 2 minutes from our hotel to JR MEJIRO Station.
Around the hotel, we have many shops which are Banks, Drug store,
convenience stores and so on.
If you visit to JAPAN next time, please come to stay our hotel again.

good, friendly welcome, breakfast good, bed very comfortable, free wifi, no non japanese TV though, which did not bother me. very close to rail station, quiet, clean, just as one would want. I would recommend to any one. My room was quite small, as a single, but was efficiently organised. Stayed five nights.

Conveniently located on the Yamanote line. Efficient and friendly staff who helped us to make travel bookings and hire bicycles. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Good English spoken. Clean & quiet rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Excellent value for money. Rooms are small compared to a western equivalent, but perfectly adequate for the price.

Room Tip: No complaints what so ever, all rooms clean and comfortable.

I stayed with a 6 month old baby. The room was bigger than most other business hotels I have stayed in and the walls seemed to be thicker as I heard no other guests during my three day stay. It was clean, comfortable and friendly. Just 200m from Meijiro station. As this station has only one exit it was more convenient than hotels located in areas with huge stations like Shinjuku or Ikebururo. Staff were friendly and it wasn't so expensive to get taxis to, from busy areas of Tokyo. Finally, my room on the 7th floor had a fantastic view of snow capped Mount Fuji. Will certainly be staying there again.

First time stayed in the Richmond hotel chain, quite small room size, but very convenience location, easy access to the JR station. Like their payment system, you paid via the vending machine with your room key, nice idea. Have a few cafe or restaurants near by no need to worry about breakfast.

Had a layover in Tokyo for 2 days to visit some friends and through a friend's recommendation, stayed at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo. The room is very clean (this is standard in Japan) and very small. It has everything I needed, complete with a bath tub. Note that this is a business hotel, not ideal for a backpacker or someone with a budget. The room is good for 1-2 people. As the yen was quite low when I visited, I paid USD130 per night. I think it's not a bad rate for a business hotel. The buffet breakfast was USD10 extra.

Location is very close to the Mejiro train station. You won't get lost finding the hotel and Shibuya and Shinjuku is very accessible through the metro.

We stayed in this hotel over New Year's 08/09 in Tokyo. We booked this hotel very last minute and as such paid a premium (as is to be expected at this time of year). I found this hotel ok - nothing great, but not bad either. I would like to add that the stay probably would have been better if it was not New Year's and more restaurants in the area were open. The staff were really nice, and did their best to make our stay comfortable. Although the staff we saw had fairly limited English, they were very patient with our terrible Japanese and we got everything worked out in end. The hotel is probably about a minute's walk from Mejiro station, which is on the super-convenient Yamanote line (connects with Shinjuku and Tokyo stations). There is also a 24 hour supermarket and a McDonalds about a 30 second walk from the hotel, which was a life-saver over the New Year's period when everything else was shut.
