“Best full-service like apartment in Asakusa!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

This hotel feels more like a full-service hotel, but without the actual services. In the room, it's fully furnished, including a washer/dryer combo, mini-kitchen with induction heating hot plate, pots and pans and bowls and plates. You can literally feel like being in single studio home here. Good free wifi reception as well. Room is very clean, a large closet to hang clothes and hide luggages, and a queen size bed! Unheard of in Japanese hotels.
Location is about 10min walk from the Asakusa train station, passing by the famous Kaminarimon Gate. There is a free panda bus that you can take for free going around Asakusa area, and one stop is outside of Rox (24hr supermarket in basement). Plus the Don Quixote 24hr super store is also within 3 min walk!

In general I highly recommend this place, especially if staying in area for few days or have family with you, you can do laundry for free in the room!

it's a perfect place for a long stay in Tokyo. the room is relatively big (the bathroom is big, too), and the price is quite convenient (at least, for the Japanese standards), and there's everything one needs for a long stay: a place where one can cook, all the utensils needed in order to cook and a laundry machine. the staff is very polite and english speaking, and they'll provide you extra cooking utensils and similar stuff in case you need them. there's cleaning service every few days (the dates are written on a paper in the room, anyway). only problem: our room had a view that was not such a beauty... all we saw was the wall of the near building; but there are many rooms with a window that looks at the street, so the view should be better. anyway, the position is excellent: in the heart of Asakusa, one of the central areas of Tokyo, close to Sensō- ji, to the metro station (station of Asakusa) and to a lot of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, it's a beautiful little hotel. New, clean and friendly staff.

The bathroom is a tad small but that's to be expected in Tokyo so go for at least the G-type room if you're not a tiny person.

The only real complaint I have is that we had to change room once during our stay but they put us into a smoking room where everything reeked of cigarette...which was made better with the air purifying machine in the room. However, we used their extra blanket (provided inside the wardrobe) and somehow it carried loads of allergens - we could not stop sneezing! We used the same type of blanket in our other room previously with no problem so we thought maybe this one was unwashed from the previous guest? This was the only thing that marred the experience.

Apart from that this is a fine residential hotel that comes with all the pots and pans and washer/dryer which made our 2 weeks stay a lot easier.

This was out first time in Japan and our first hotel after arriving at Haneda. As with everywhere else the hotel was spotlessly clean, the hotel staff polite, demur and incredibly helpful and for Japan the room size was actually pretty good. You get a washing machine and kitchenette but we didn't use these. The wifi was excellent and free and the shower and bathroom very good. The hotel has an adjoining coffee shop/restaurant which serves excellent cappuccinos. Breakfast is a little limited for Western palates but the toast and hard boiled egg were just what was needed. The hotel is perfectly located for strolling through Asakusa and going to see Senso-ji temple etc

I stayed here 3 times and never been disappointed. My favorite room, 603, has beautiful view of SkyTree and adorable design. The concierge is very funny and passionately. Highly recommend as this hotel is really value for money.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at Residential B-Conte...and on the past two occasions I have given it a 5-star rating. We love the location, the clean, modern, well equipped rooms and the value for money it represents in what can be an expensive city. Unfortunately, this time around our stay was marred by a poor service experience. We were asked to move rooms with less than two hours notice and it wasn't until after a lengthy discourse with the duty manager that reason finally prevailed. Nevertheless, the damage had been done and it was a little upsetting. This is not the kind of service experience one expects in Japan...a nation which prides itself on (and delivers) the best service in the world. Whilst this negative experience has influenced my overall rating for this review, we will be staying at B-Conte again on our next trip to Tokyo in the hope this was an isolated incident.

My husband and I stayed this hotel a year ago and came back this time for staying Tokyo for a week. We expanded stay in this hotel so we had two separate bookings (5 nights and 1 night) through internet website. Hotel initially didn't tell us anything about possible moving room to the other because of our two separate bookings. In the morning of day 5, we received phone call from reception telling "Can you move your room to another similar type of room in this hotel? We are fully booked tonight and one of our guests need to stay the room you are staying at the moment " I said " No. It's only one hour to check-out time and you have never told us we might need to move to the other room until now". We couldn't understand what they tried to do for us so we came down to reception and talked with manager in person. At the end we didn't need to move at all but we are really disappointed to this arrogant attitude they made to us. Meanwhile in the elevator we met a couple about to check out and they told us that they stayed this hotel for a few nights but their room smelled a kind of fish strongly and they couldn't put up with. Hotel tried to get rid of the smell but it hasn't changed so they decided to move to the other hotel just for one night. We are GUESSING that hotel tried to swap this room to our room. Because It's only one night anyway! We understand any hotel try to be satisfied all the guests. But we have to say the decision they made was poor and not appropriate. If they have already told us about possible moving room, that might be an option. But unfortunately they didn't. It's just unfair for us. I love this area which I spent seven years to live and we really like this hotel so I decided to share this experience this time to be fair.
