“Great hotel but small room”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

I just want to confirm all the previous positive comments on this hôtel. Great location especially for eating, many local restaurants with the traditionnel japanese atmosphere, home cooking style etc... as opposed to the more modern Tokyo building style restaurants. Do note that restaurants close early, last seating sometime 8:30 pm. This can be surprising for européens who eat late. The only thing that surprised me in négative way about this hotel is how small the room feels, the announced 24sqm for the standard room and 32sqm for the scenic room seems exagerated. I was in tokyo for 8 days for business and picked this hotel because of the seemingly bigger room size in its price category compared to other hotel. I could not work confortably at all in the room and had to go to lobby to work. Also, the closet was really tiny! The staff was Nice and professionnal but i would not say overly friendly or went out of their way, maybe because of language barrier. During my 8 days stay, not once was i asked How is everything? Good wifi all over, great shower. I just regret no good functioning work Space and smaller than expected room. But to end on postive note, very good hotel for wonderful asakusa area.

Room Tip: For good view, ask for 7th floor up. Standard double room smaller than Hollywood twin type room.

Stayed at this hotel while on a small group tour with Inside Japan Tours. The rooms are very comfortable with a great view of the Skytree and a short walk to the Gate and Tourist office. They aren't large rooms but perfect for tourists. Big tub and shower, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was included and very good with a number of local and western choices. Starbucks right next door as is a 7-11. Easy to walk to shopping or station to grab a train.

stylish new hotel ,100 metres from the Kaminarimon gate . Loads of restaurants in the area to suit any taste or budget if you dont fancy hotel offering.
Loved the live jazz in the bar - champagne around £10 a glass , beer £5 and views from the guests only top floor balcony are stunning especially at night.

I was told by someone who lives in Asakusa that this hotel is one of the newest hotels (maybe the newest hotel in the area). The hotel is quite stylish from walking in off the street level with the water-lights in the ceiling. The lobby and check-in are on the top floor and the staff are very helpful, and they make a good effort to speak English. The elevator has room-key security so people coming in off the street cannot go to the room floors, only the lobby or the ground floor.
I booked the room with Agoda.com and got a reduced rate for the modest size room. The room is small, but not small for Tokyo. It did not come with a bath, only a shower. The room was in perfect condition, very well cleaned and maintained. There were absolutely no issues with the room.
The wireless internet worked without any problems at all and was encrypted. The password was provided by the front desk.
I went to the bar one night as well and the view is quite nice. The staff at the bar are excellent. It was obvious to me that they work very hard to take care of their guests.
The breakfast was really great. I had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. It has been a long time since I had this dish, and I have never had it in Japan. They cooked it very well and the sauce was quite exceptional. I was very impressed actually with the quality of the food. The vegetables and fruit in the buffet in the morning were advertised organic, farm to table, produce. They squeezed the orange juice right at the buffet table as well, though, this makes it a bit strong.

Finally, check-out was great because there was no need to go to the lobby on the top floor. Just call and let them know you are leaving, put the key on the desk, and leave.

Overall, this was an amazing stay. I was really impressed with the quality here and would recommend it to everyone. I loved the rate I got, and that is part of the reason I loved it so much. For the price I paid, the quality doesn't compare.

This is the first time I ever write a review of something. I hope this helps whoever in need of a perfect stay.

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend on her birthday, and the service was the best both of us have ever had. The staffs were eager to support my secret plan to surprise my partner, and indeed, they successfully satisfied even more than what I had asked for. We could experience one of the most unforgettable moments in our lives, and nobody else could have ever been more helpful.

The room we stayed was also very clean and spacious, and we could see the whole Asakusa area, including the famous Tokyo Skytree, from our bedroom.

If you're seeking for a clean, stylish, mid-priced hotel around Asakusa, I strongly recommend you staying here. You're a couple? Then there possibly is no better choice.

Literally 1 minute walk from the station. Our room (and bathroom) had views of Kaminarimon and Tokyo Sky Tree. Reception floor and outdoor balcony also have great views.

Healthy breakfast buffet was healthy, but not extensive.

Modern, clean design. Expected the rooms to be smaller but they were surprisingly spacious.

Nice choice if you want to explore this part of Tokyo.

Room Tip: Maybe all rooms have this, but check you have a view of kaminarimon and Tokyo Sky Tree.

This hotel is situated just right in front of the gate to Sensoji temple in Asakusa. It is in the heart of the Asakusa area but the hotel is still very private and quiet. Hotel is new and deco is very chic. Staff was super helpful and nice. I couldn't work out the air-conditioning system because the instructions are in Japanese. The staff came into my room and managed the aircon for me plus translated the instructions on the remote control into English for reference! I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I am in the area next time.
