My husband and I booked this guest house for 1 night in order to attend a funeral. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we can not fault our stay. Vicci and Paul are delightful friendly hosts. The room was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely spot on. Compliments to chef Paul. We were unsure where to eat on arrival and was advised by Vicci that the hotel on the pier could be suitable for our needs and she was not wrong. Food was good as was the beer and staff. We will certainly pay a return visit to Jennis-Lodge and have already passed on the phone number to my Aunty at the funeral. Thank you again Vicci and Paul xx

Jennis Lodge is in a perfect location for the beach, one of the best beaches I've ever seen in the UK. Room was fine (bunk beds with a double bed) and the owners made an effort with child friendly items at breakfast.

The wide sandy beach is located at the end of the street as are amusement arcades. Two pubs are nearby. Our room was adequately equipped but no biscuits on the tray. Vicci was very welcoming and told us where we might find a meal - Mondays are a bit tricky. Breakfast was a no frills full English - it was tasty and there was plenty of toast and coffee was refilled.

Wish people would look at the fact it's a dog friendly b&b because I spent £75 to sleep in car which wasn't best pleased about .... But can say breakfast was amazing and very clean don't think personally would come back myself but that's my personal experience
