“A family break”
Reviewed 18 May 2013

Going to the Harbour Hotel was like a home from home; we had 2 rooms and both were large rooms which were very clean with all the equipment you'd expect to have. The owners, Vin and Aura were both very welcoming and friendly and they made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The quality of the food was amazing, the smoked herring for breakfast is a MUST. Vin and Aura couldn't do enough and always checked if we wanted evening meals and if so giving us options on times. This hotel is real value for money. It is a very short walk to the beautiful beach at Gorleston and Gorleston itself is a beautiful, clean, english seaside town. We will definitely visit again and would recommend this to anyone whether you're travelling alone, as a couple or a family. Thank you so much Vin and Aura!

Room Tip: The rooms at the front of the hotel have a beautiful view and are lovely and light.

We stayed three nights at the Harbour and we would have stayed longer but our trip had to continue,Vince and Aura will really look after you and make you feel very welcome ,We stayed B&B ,but you can make arrangements for an evening meal on request.
Once again I would have no reservations about reviewing this hotel for a short break or maybe longer I do not think you will be dissappointed.

Room Tip: when booking do as I did and ask what rooms are available , then make your mind up as to your own re...

Amazing place, clean and tidy. The owners have offered great service and value for money. The view and the beach is within walking distance of this place! Great value for money. Would definitely come back again with my family.

This was our second stay at The Harbour Hotel. The owners, Vince and Aura, were just as commited to making sure our stay was an enjoyable stay this time as they were last time. The location is excellent for those that want to be right near the beach with a great view of the harbour so that you can watch the ships come and go. It's a very homely B&B and the owners put on a great breakfast. Top tip is to try the locally smoked kippers, a real treat. Full marks and would definitely stay again.

I stayed with my 4 children last week for 5 nights
Vince and Aura were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble they got some toys out for the children to play with and WiFi is free too.
We were able to all stay in one room which was very comfortable and overlooked the harbour
There is plenty of choice for breakfast
We all really enjoyed our stay

“First Class” is the thing that springs to mind. I spend a lot of time working away from home, usually I would use a B&B while I look for a semi permanent place to stay Monday to Friday but in this instance it has not been the case. I have now been there for quite a few months and am more than happy. The rooms are always clean and well maintained and the owners Vince and Aura are very attentive and would make anyone’s stay a pleasure. If your requirements are for a short break or as in my case for a longer duration I would recommend trying out the Harbour Hotel. If only there were more places like this!

Room Tip: All the rooms are of a good size and standard, I am sure if you explain your requirements Vince and...
