We had an one night stop here on the way to Tofino. We had already almost two weeks of traveling behind and our children were a bit tired with changing the place again. But at Anneke´s and Jeff´s our son was really happy and he would have liked to stay there. Also rest of the family enjoyed the stay - B&B was clean and peaceful and nicely a bit off from the main road. and we really felt welcomed. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully set. Even if we had only a quick stop, I felt like leaving friends, when we moved on in the morning. Anneke also gave us good tips what to see around Errington. Wild animal recovery center was truly interesting. Thank you!

We are from Victoria and wanted to get away for a night for my birthday. I have nothing but awesome things to say about Cedar Song. The breakfast was first class and the bed was sooo comfy it was hard to get up in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope that many, many others have the chance to visit here. I will be recommending it to others for sure!

Had a very relaxing stay with Anika. She is a wonderful hostess and treats you like you are part of her family. The breakfast was incredible! I would recommend her B&B for sure. The only drawback was that it was quite a ways off the main road.

Thank you for your kind words.. It was lovely to have you and your son here.
We try hard to make everyone feel at home. It is wonderful how people appreciate our place and write nice reports.
And yes, our place is 10 minute drive off the 4A, however, for most guests not so much an issue. We are less than 15 minutes from Parksville and 12 minutes to Coombs.
The main thing is that people feel relaxed, genuine loved, welcomed and appreciated in who they are. They bring something for us that enriches our lives.. So thank you for staying!

One of the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. Anneke could not have done more for us. We were greeted with warmth and wine. Our room was upgraded to the pretty cottage in the woods where a cozy fire in the fireplace made us welcome. Our stresses melted away as we enjoyed the quiet peacefulness and pretty views and awoke from a great night's sleep. Breakfast was definitely 5 Star Gourmet complete with fresh eggs from the chicken coop and local produce. The food was so beautiful it was a shame to eat it. We felt like royalty and would definitely come again.

Room Tip: This place sells out months in advance so your book room early.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage in the woods. Nearby there were beautiful places to see, lakes and mountains and lovely beaches and we found good places to eat out too. Our hostess Anneke was charming and kind, arriving with treats she had cooked for us, although we were self catering and ready with helpful information if we needed it.
We would highly recommend this holiday house
Many thanks

My boyfriend and I stayed in the cottage for a quick weekend getaway. We were greeted by a warm fire and tasty treats home-baked by our gracious hostess. The cottage and property were beautiful and serene. Everything was clean with all details taken care of. The breakfasts prepared by our hostess were amazing, so delicious and so fresh! Highly recommended!

The best night of sleep in ten months for parents of a ten month old baby (without the baby!). Anneke was a gracious and wonderful host. The hospitality and food was as good as or better than any 5 star restaurant. The cottage was spacious and private. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Lot's of room in cottage for a family.
