My mother and I just came back from a three-week stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located between Meguro and Ibisu stations. Although not a 5 star hotel, the service surpassed many of the 5 star hotels I've stayed at in the past. They could not be kinder or more helpful. We upgraded to a deluxe room from a standard which was way too small for us and no closet. The deluxe was about the size you would expect from most hotel rooms in the U.S. The bathroom was supplied with all kinds of toiletries. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the common lobby area. Breakfast is included with the room overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden and koi pond. The food was buffet style with Japanese and western dishes. Make sure that you request a nonsmoking room if you are not a smoker and definitely upgrade from a standard room. It was a very good value. The hotel does not have a pool. I clicked by mistake.

The bedroom was normal size rather than Japanese size.. So after 2.5 weeks in the country it felt huge!! Bathroom was still tiny though.
Shower was good, lots of nice toiletries, typically high tech toilet.
Room itself was dated but clean. We had to book a smoking room here as that's all they had and there was low availability everywhere in the city but it didn't actually smell at all. And like most japan there's air freshner provided in case it did.
Staff were ok, not particularly friendly but fine. Location isn't too bad. Small supermarket opposite if you want to eat in your room or there are options about a 5min walk away at meguro station (which is on the JR Yamanote).
If you are catching a Shinkansen (bullet train) then check if it goes through Shinagawa, it's much was easier to get to/from the hotel from there rather than Tokyo or worse still Ueno which is other side of the city, especially with bags.

Only 20min by train from Tokyo main station, plus a three min walk means this is a good location. Plus quiet street which is nice. Reasonable size room (for Japan) and whilst the bathroom is a bit small I've stayed in hotels with smaller bathrooms (yes, really) so happy with this choice.

We only stayed for a night, pretty good overall. Clean, quiet, small rooms with the usual goodies (AC, mini fridge, TV). Good location, only two blocks away from Meguro station (Yamanote Line), and just a couple of stations away from Shibuya / Shinjuku.

The room is a very average size for a hotel room in Tokyo and that goes for the bathroom/toilet as well. It's comfortable enough for two people. It's very clean (there was no smoke smell unlike other reviewers noted) and has pretty much every amenity you need. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk away from Meguro station, which is on the JR Yamanote Line and two subway lines, making it very convenient for getting around Tokyo. The neighborhood around the hotel is very quiet and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the busier neighborhoods in Tokyo. The staff was very nice and can accommodate English-speaking guests without any problems.

The only problem I had with the room was the oven-like temperatures. There was an "Air Con" button, but it didn't help much. We tried all three settings "low, medium and high" and there was hardly any difference. And the windows don't open, so that wasn't an option. I asked the front desk and they told me to turn the air conditioner on high, but I really couldn't notice a difference. If they fixed that problem, I'd easily give this hotel a "very good" rating.

Not sure why the negative reviews on here, unless you're used to the MGM Grand. Japan has 127 million people living in an area the of the size of Montana, so don't expect large living spaces. Everything is small here, especially the hotel rooms. This is a pretty nice hotel, the outside and lobby look like an expensive hotel should look. Rooms are normal size for Japan. One note for north americans, heat is controlled by console buttons marked 'Air Con', push low med high to increase heat, it's not just for cooling. Hotel is in a good location near the JR Megoru station, many restaurants and shops, easy access to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Shinagawa. Take the N'EX from Narita to Shinagawa and transfer to the Yamanote Line to Megoru, turn right and follow the road 400 Meters to the hotel
