Ideally located for visiting the whole Loire region - Chambord is down the road. We had a lovely courtyard suite and were able to sit outside sipping fizz in the sun. No restaurant but good choice in Bracieux if you remember to book and eat early.

Lovely hotel in a small town which has truly amazing scenery and history. Whilst the front of the hotel looks unspectacular the rear has a courtyard with lots of converted out houses. Rooms are spacious. Swimming pool looks great but weather prohibited its use. Nice place in a town off the beaten track.

A wonderful little hotel conveniently located near many of the chateaus. Somewhat basic but very clean and updated bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful but don't appear to speak English. Abundant parking a plus.

Honest and no fuss country hotel.

Plus: close to Chambord and Blois ; quiet, large, cool room; parking in the yard; separate entrance from the yard.
Minus: bad internet connection, squeaky shower door (believe it could be heard across the street)
