My wife and I stayed here for 3 amazing nights as the first of three camps we visited in the delta. From our seeing a leopard with her two cubs before even reaching the lodge from the airstrip, to following both two cheetahs, and again a pack of wild dogs, in hot pursuit of prey, to being enveloped in a flock of thousands of migrating carmine bee eaters (to name only a few memories) our guide Mayezi and tracker Vincent were indefatigable at showing us the animals they so clearly know and love. The entire staff of the lodge were friendly and very professional. The lodge itself was superb and the food truly delicious-we have memories for a lifetime and cannot recommend it enough.

We had a great stay here, the lodge is very comfortable, delightful staff and good food. We were extremely lucky to have Spencer as our guide and JD as our tracker. Both are so knowledgeable and their experience makes them a great team. Each game drive was full of interest and drama, we saw a great range of large predators, including an excellent sighting of wild dogs we will never forget.By far the best sightings we have had anywhere.

We stayed 3 nights at Lagoon Camp. The camp itself offers beautiful accommodations. The "tents"/"cabins" are luxurious and elegant and they all offer views of the lagoon. Wildlife is very close and we had a symphony of hippos during the night and could hear the elephants eating right next to our outdoor deck area. The game drives have a driver and tracker and we saw more wildlife here than at our other two camps. The guides really wanted to make sure we saw as much as possible and at the same time they were very respectful of the wildlife and the environment. We took a walking guided tour and really enjoyed learning more about the animal tracking, the environment, family customs and so much more. The manager, Phet, along with other staff members made our stay memorable. Every minute of our stay was wonderful. Having just returned we are still processing just how much wildlife we saw. Thank you, Kwando staff! We live far away but we will never forget you!

We had 4 great days at Lagoon, along with guide Bale and tracker Sea. Tracker Sea, spots so many animals, again and again. Good team those two guys!

This was our first visit in August, the area is so different from December. But still beautiful! also beautiful to see form the terrace of Lagoon Camp, Elephants crossing, drinking and playing.

Wild life was great, but because every day in the bush is different, I will not describe what we have all experienced, but believe me, it was overwhelming!

The atmosphere was good, manager Peth , along with the other staff members.... so friendly, the food was also very good. The room is beautiful, large, and clean!
Every evening sitting near the bush fire....listen to the sound of the bush...!

We loved every single day at Lagoon camp!

We like to come to Kwando Camps, the price / quality is good! The camps are flexible, the guides ( and Staff) are good and they will do everything for there guests.
I find it amazing that staff can grow at kwando , for example...to see our tracker Chester as a guide now, or to see the waitress as a receptionist etc.etc.

Thanks to all the staff of Kwando, and our travel agent Paul Janssen from Going Africa Safaris !
