On the one hand, the staff is nice and helpful and the rooms are clean. I had a room with a balcony, which was nice, there was air-conditioning, the room was relatively new. I guess some people would find it to small, but then again, I expect that you don’t spend a lot of time in the room watching the (very small) TV when the sea is just outside. My bigger issue was the restaurant, since the food was just not good. Everything had the ‘out of the box’ feel, nothing seemed made from scratch. Hell, I’ve waited for fresh watermelon for three days - when we are smack in the middle of the summer?! The salads were just bad. And the coffee - well, just because it is black, hot liquid, you can’t just call it coffee.

So was it worth the money? I guess. But mostly because of the sea (mind you, the beach in front of the hotel was insanely crowded, so I ended up going to the camp-beach). Still, don’t expect anything exceptional, just an average ‘get the most out of the summer season’ hotel.

Was staying with family in Njvice and needed a night away. Kinda looks upscale from the outside but the rooms where very utilitarian with relatively small, hard beds and small TV with bad reception. AC worked fine and the room was quiet. Towles where threadbare and not sufficient. Was bareable for one night, an nice location on the promanade of Njivice but expected more. Fortunately got a great rate on Booking.com.

This is not worth place to stay. The rooms are not any good for a vacation hotel. Looks like no one really did maintenance for ages. No coolness factor. If you are in Njivice, better stay in one of those cool bed and breakfast apartments around. Breakfast and food is also bad. We regret our stay here.

Would agree that the hotel location ( especially restaurant view )is in a great location.
What let this hotel down, was that the rooms ( @ the beginning of October ) were very cold and @ night ( & there was no heating on), bathrooms & showers could do with a bit more cleaning, the bar( which is quite small ) gets very crowded when the hotel is fully booked, & it can take you ages to get served.
Found that all the staff ( in restaurant & reception) were very helpful, but need to plan a better system @ meal times, as chaos does prevail.

Room Tip: Try to book a room overlooking the sea, as really terrific views.

The hotel is in a nice position with rooms and a restaurant overlooking the sea. The rooms are nice and spacious but avoid the back of the hotel for accommodation as the delivery and refuse lorries start arriving after 6.30 in the morning. The staff are pleasant and polite. What lets the place down is the food, there is plenty of it but what was supposed to be hot was barely warm. This applied both evening and morning. There was salad but nothing really to go with it. Jugs of water provided in the morning were not hot enough to make tea of which there were a good selection of tea bags, ordinary, fruit, herbal so it was a shame. Coffee was in an urn, only slightly hotter than water but very bitter. A worry was that you did not know how long the food was left standing, a concern as the weather was very hot during my stay. A number of people on my tour had upset stomachs during the stay. Shortly before we left the hotel, we then found out several German people on another tour staying at the hotel also had been ill. This is more than a coincidence. A big disappointment which led to a number of people dining out which is annoying when meals are included.

Room Tip: Make sure it isn't at the back of the hotel due to early morning lorries which make it is imposs...

1. When I arrived on my first day and throughout my stay the bath towels provided had holes in them, the toilet had a bad smell. The shower was not ever cleaned.

2. The staff in the restaurant were very unfriendly and unresponsive. One of them had a uniform that looked like he slept in it the night before.

3. The packed lunch I was given on one day was appalling quality, I could have made better sandwiches myself, in fact they didn't even make the sandwiches - they just wrapped bread in clingfilm and put meats and cheese in a separate container.

4. Once my bed sheets were changed with sheets that had brown stains on them- how can anyone possibly miss this, or think it is acceptable to cover a bed with?

5. On the second to last evening a staff member went into my room to leave information about an excursion I had booked and left my room door unlocked.

6. On the last day I was twice rushed to checkout of my room, once at 8 am, when someone tried to use a key and enter my room and then again at 9.30 am.

I found the reception staff to be very unhelpful and rude. Sanjin in particular was very rude, unhelpful and had little knowledge about most things, such as what the hotel city tax goes towards, the daily exchange rate, where the local bank/ATM points were or taxis and their cost, in response to my questions, he would just shrug his shoulders - he used absolutely no initiative and ingenuity(If you don't know and there is no one else to ask, ask Google!) He was very frustrating to deal with and showed no customer service skills.
