We stayed in this hotel for one night after spending a week with my family in a villa near Alcudia. After a week with parents, sisters, brothers-in-laws and nieces/nephews we were looking for somewhere we could relax for a day/night before travelling back to London. This hotel was everything we were looking for and more. It's set in really beautiful gardens with lots of little buildings and winding pathways. Our apartment had a small living area, small kitchen and large bedroom and bathroom - all traditionally decorated. We also had our own small terrace with sun loungers and a table and chairs. There were two pools which never seemed to be busy. In fact, we barely saw anyone else there which really made the place seem exclusive and relaxing. As we were only there for one evening we chose to eat in the restaurant. My partner is pescetarian so I emailed them before our arrival to ask for a non-meat menu for him. The restaurant is in a beautiful, old building with gigantic old wine casks lining one wall. There were lots of old paintings and interesting antiques in the room too. The food was divine. It's a set menu which costs 40 EUR per person. We were served with a glass of fizz by our friendly and efficient waiter and then came our five course dinner - and a specially composed menu for my other half. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy which is a real shame as this was the best restaurant we had eaten in whilst in Mallorca. Also, at 40 EUR per person (and around 30 EUR for a good bottle of wine) it was a real bargain for such high class food. Breakfast the next morning was again of excellent quality. It was served on a small, tree lined terrace and consisted of delicious breads, pastries, cheese, meats and yoghurts. It definitely set us up for the day. The owner and all of his staff couldn't have been friendlier. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night. If ever back in Mallorca I would definitely make this my base for the week.

This is a fantastic hotel/ apartment. Very quiet, rural and completely relaxing despite only being 20 minutes drive from Palma. It is a converted farmhouse next to a working vineyard that has been owned by the same family since the 16th century and their love and pride in the whole place is clearly evident and pays dividends. The grounds are beautifully kept and the friendly service is superb - it really is a little slice of paradise in the middle of Mallorca!

Having had a great five days at Es Castell I was reluctant to move but Sa Torre was well worth the effort. The apartment was very quiet and peaceful, there are two pools and we almost always found that we had them to ourselves. The gardens and surroundings are a small oasis in what was a very dry landscape. Each pool has some shaded areas. The apartment we had has a kitchen that would allow self catering. However for our evening meals we ate in the restaurant. The food quality and preparation was very very good and the location is really memorable. Although we had been warned that the menu was the same every night, the chef prepared a completely new menu for us as we ate in on two consecutive nights. Both meals were excellent. It seems to me that this chef has been somewhat overlooked as the restaurant was pretty quiet on both nights(one a Friday). Even if you are not staying then the place is well worth a trip out of Palma for the location and food alone.

Amazing, quiet, ambience, beautiful oasis. Very wonderful family run inn with the best restaurant we have ever eaten at in Spain. Friendly, helpful & wonderful people. The apartment has a nice living room, kitchen and bedroom. Two nice pools. Short drive to sights. Sample the restaurant food!

My husband and I were looking forward to a quiet holiday and quietness and peace we found at this place. Due to the low number of rooms, we had the feeling we had the place to ourselves. We stayed in two different apartments and both were very nice with comfortable beds. When we returned in the late afternoon we usually had one of the two pools for ourselves. We loved sitting outside our apartment and enjoy the night and the peacefulness in the evening. The breakfast is not included and you could make your own in the kitchen included in the apartment, but what the place offers is also very nice. Also, the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious! The place is run by a very nice family in an uncomplicated way. We felt welcomed, we loved it and we will return for sure.
What you need to know about this place, though: It is not run like an actual hotel, so there is no reception that is open all day, where you can pop-in. But someone is always around if you do need assistance and the owners and the staff are very friendly. Also, the rooms are not made-up daily. It is a bit away from everything and you will require a rental car. The hotel has it's own restaurant which is absolutely delicious, however, they are also happy to give you recommendations for hotels in the area (about 10-15 mins drive). The place is very quiet, but you do hear the planes landing at the airport. It is not loud, though. None of these points were a downside for us, but I can see that there are important for some people.

We stayed for two nights at thia highly recommended hotel. It is but a short distance from the airport (about 30 minutes) and is well placed being surrounded by fields and vines. It is not, however, 'remote'. There are villages and roads nearby and you can hear traffic noise. The hotel does however have extensive and well kept grounds with swimming pools and areas to be quite alone. It can therefore make for a relaxing and quiet stay.
Arrival was interesting in that the lady who met us spoke either Spanish or French. The other surprise was that the restaurant does not open on the day we arrived - Monday, hence the immediate task of a trip to the supermarket.
Our room was an apartrment in the old and traditional house. It was well furnished with comfortable beds. We had a kitchen (with a large gas cylinder in one cupboard -for the cooker). plus a comfortable lounge and large balcony. The bathroom was fine, if slightly old fashioned. One interesting feature was that the bath (wall shower over it) did not have a plug, hence was unusable as a bath, equally the bidet had a plug chain but no plug. Does this mean that Spain is facing the problem of disappearing plugs which was a feature of the old Soviet Union!!!
The main feature of this establishment is clearly the restaurant. Set in massive old cellars it is truly magnificent. A set menu with good food and carefully chosen wines make for a memorable evening - and it does take a full evening.
So a good, quite expensive, hotel in convenient position, fiendly staff, good continental breakfasts.
Overall a good experience.
