“Great property for relaxing days”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

We have found this BB by web in early May and enjoy the tranquility of the place and surroundings as well the good location not far away from Palma and close for other destinations on the island. The castle is perfectly renovated. We loved the yellow windows and the light blue door.

The people running the place are very kind and helpful, ask for Beatriz, a very friendly Majorcan lady, who will explain you everything and shows you around. The breakfast (local products) served on the terrace the great wide views is excellent. Pool is great after hiking or cycling in the areas nearby and the barbecue place at the pool area invites to self cater local specialities. Lunch is not served, supper 2 or 3 times a week, which we have not tried but would like to, ...... Rooms are big, newly renovated and nicely decorated. Its a great place for people how prefer to travel independently and prefer privacy before hotel hustle. Only the Internet is sometimes not stable..., which won't discourage us to come back.

This was an incredible find and you really cannot fault it. My partner and I detest hotel resorts etc so staying in this beautiful homely farmhouse was ideal for us. The junior suite we stayed in was enormous and spotless – the cleaners washed the floors each day and the room was always immaculate. The lady who owns Alqueria Blanca makes the breakfast each morning, with bruchettas, tomatoes and cucumbers in olive oil, cheese and ham toasties, yogurt, fresh orange juice, omelettes and it goes on. It's even more wonderful being able to sit out on the terrace looking out over the island. The staff even kindly left us a tray of breakfast goodies when we were leaving early in the morning to go to the airport.

Although it's down a small track, it is near to the main road; only 20 minutes from Soller or 20 minutes from Palma. You would need to hire a car though because they don't serve lunch and only provide dinner on Tuesday and Thursday. We booked this one night and had such an enjoyable evening: the owner cooked us 4 little taster dishes and then a main dish of stuffed aubergines, followed by a sorbet.

We felt extremely well looked after and I really would recommend this to anyone.

Superior Finca in a beautiful peaceful setting. You feel at ease and relaxed from the minute you arrive.

The rooms are large, very nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and as others have said the whole hotel is spotlessly clean.

The very tasty breakfast is served on the terrace. It a lovely start to the day, great food with wonderful views all enjoyed to sound of goat bells and bleating.

There is also a lovely pool area.

Lastly the staff are all lovely and so helpful.

I will be coming back..

Our first trip to Majorca, so far we haven't done reviews but this hotel deserves one. Among the many positives are: cleanliness of the rooms, the views, the exceptional breakfasts on the terrace, the peaceful atmosphere and attentive staff. Others have mentioned food on Tuesday and Thursdays, we had both. Mallorcan cuisine 4 courses and coffee at 30 euro a head and reasonably priced wine was a great alternative to driving out. The place is well positioned for Soller and the North and a short drive away from Esporles where walking trails lead to Banyanbulfar ( bus available between the two). Hardly a major problem but be aware the road to the hotel is unmade and a tad bumpy if you worry about your hire car. One tip, if you park at the nearby stop of Can Paso to get a bus to Soller be aware the stop is only for the northbound bus, they do not stop there on the way back - if you are not a walker then this could be a problem. In short, an excellent experience and we will be going back.

We can highly recommend the Alqueria Blanca. Wonderful hosts, very nice and comfortable rooms, tasty and always fresh food. The highlights are the breakfast on the terrace on a sunny morning and Francisca's food on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Alqueria Blanca is the perfect destination if you are seeking a holiday where you stop, relax and enjoy the magic of Mallorca. Wonderful owners, amazing food, beautiful and VERY clean accommodation. We felt instantly at ease on arrival and the family and staff who are there have mastered the perfect balance of being there if you need them but otherwise leaving you to your own devices. You will need a car to get around to other villages but that is part of the joy of the holiday exploring places like Fornalux, Valldemossa, Soller etc. The rooms were beautifully decorated with individual outdoor terraces. The breakfasts delicious and generous and we highly recommend staying in for a Tuesday or Thursday night for their dinners. You can buy bottles of wine from their wine fridge and just enjoy the views each evening. Great place for couples, groups and families. we will be back.

Room Tip: We saw a few of the rooms and thought they were all lovely. There are also lovely little sitting are...

We stayed one week and it seemed to me like 2 days!! The location was just perfect for us, since we went there for climbing and biking. The nearest climbing wall is at 5 minutes walk! The Finca was, like somebodyelse already said, elegantly beautiful, the rooms very large with a big private terrace and free Wifi everywhere. The rooms and all the common areas were spotlessly clean!! Breakfast on the large terrace overviewing the whole valley was just fabulous! And the breakfast itself was it, too. We got every day something tipical spanish and many other things. You could have ordered whatever you wanted for breakfast and you've got it, but we didn't since they brought us much more than we could ever eat!! The staff was very kind and helpful and, it's funny, we saw somebody of the staff the rare times we needed something and for the rest of the stay we didn't see anybody. So you feel like you are on your own villa in Spain without being disturbed or controlled or whatever. We enjoyed our staying very much and we recommend this Finca to everybody who searches peace and tranquillity away from the crouded places. And by car you can reach the next village in less than 5 minutes and Palma in approximately 15minute. So what's more?
