It was a nice hotel - clean and very helpful staff. It was quiet and a bit away from the nightlife, good if you want a more relaxing holiday though.

Talamanca beach was very close (but not the best beach - you have to travel to get to the nice beaches) and a frequent bus service to Ibiza town went right past the hotel. Buses to Cala Llonga passed close by too.

Its a bit of a walk into Ibiza town though quite pleasant walking along the beach. If you want to stay closer to Ibiza town I'd suggest staying at the other end of Talamanca beach, which is a short boat taxi to Ibiza town.

Having lived on the island I wanted a hotel close to the action of Ibiza town, but also wanted relaxation, good views & the feeling of Ibiza- this is what Hotel Victoria delivered. As we booked late we were probably allocated the weakest room in the hotel (1st floor, road view & no balcony) but it did not spoil our stay. The room was cool in the evening & silent as no noise from pool & surprisingly no noise from road!) We did the walk from Talamanca to Ibiza town a couple of times opting to to wait for a taxi- the walk was great!
Breakfast was good- orange juice a must & lots of options available.
On out last day we opted to come back to the pool so we could prepare to leave- I wish we had used the pool more! Ibiza in general was so busy & hot we often needed to escape the beaches. The pool area boasts the sunshine until it sets & both pools are great to cool you down. The food & drinks at the bar are v affordable too!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Victoria for 3 nights in early August. We arrived in Ibiza with no accommodation and booked the hotel Victoria through a travel agent when we arrived. `We were a little concerned about what the hotel would be like as we had not seen the hotel. When we arrived we were nicely surprised that the hotel was not only in a great quiet location but had recently been renovated and was modern and clean.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and spoke good English. They provided handy information on the local area. The hotel was position at the end of Talamanca beach. Across the road from the hotel was a bus stop where you were able to catch 2 buses every hour into town for 1.45 euro. The pool was great size and had plenty of lounges available. There is also a bar around the pool which offered cheap food such as hamburgers and hot dogs for 3 Euro. Drinks were also very well priced.

The rooms were simple but clean. The room had a small fridge which was very handy considering the heat and also included a safe although this came at an extra charge of 3 euro a day. Each room had their own balcony. We were fortunate to have our balcony look over the pool and out toward the beach. The walls of the rooms are paper thin however and you could definately hear everyone coming in late at night and early in the morning.

Breakfast was included with our room. This was a very simple breakfast which included fried and boiled eggs only. Some pastries, cold meats and cereal. This however was more than sufficent.

The hotel had internet facilities which were available in the bar area. 15 mins for 1 Euro. We walked to and from the town centre everyday which took around 30 mins . This provided a good opportunity for some sun. The bus into town only took around 10 mins.

Overall the hotel was great and judging by all the other hotels in the area it was one of the most modern and clean. If i were to return to Ibiza i would certainly stay again.

We found out at the last minute that the website we'd booked through (Xcape with Us) had gone into administration and was not going to honour our booking at the Victoria - not a good start to the holiday! However, we contacted the hotel directly to re-book and they were so helpful and reserved us a room at a discounted rate and didn't even ask for a deposit. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find the booking was all in order and we were given a lovely room with fantastic views of Ibiza town and Talamanca Bay from the balcony.

The room was very clean, good sized and had a lovely balcony. Given the star rating of the hotel, the room was well-equiped with a fridge, hair dryer and safe. All the communal areas of the hotel were also clean and well-kept.

Breakfast was nice, but pretty ordinary, with the exception of the freshly squeezed orange juice which was lovely! The pool bar served good drinks at reasonable prices and was a lovely place to chill out in the shade or pre-dinner. The barmen were friendly and also quite amusing!

The pool was nice and big, but sometimes ridiculously cold, as it only started getting the sun late morning. However, that meant the pool and surrounding area was a fantastic sun trap early evening time. The pool was generally clean, but could have done with being cleaned more regularly (just leaves though).

The wide, sandy part of Talamanca beach is about a 10 min walk along the seafront and is a great place to relax. There are loads of restaurants and bars which serve lovely food and are worth a visit both during the day and in the evening.

Some reviews I read mentioned that the nearest shop/supermarket was 1km away from the hotel - in fact, there's one about 2 mins away towards the beach, which even has a cash point (we didn't actually see it working though)!

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for the following reasons: the staff were lovely and very helpful, it's great value for money, and the location is great for those who want to chill out, but be near all that Ibiza town has to offer.

We stayed at Victoria Hotel for 4 nights. It is situated in Talamanca area, 5 minutes by car from Ibiza town. It is a nice location if you want quiet on your resting time. We had a clean spacey room on 3rd floor. The room has air condition, tv, a small fridge, save box(payable) and a nice big balcony with a terrific view of Talamanca beach and Ibiza port and castle. The hotel has also a nice swimming pool and a snack bar downstairs. We rented a car from the hotel and outside from hotel there were also a small parking place, so customers park their cars.
We didn't try the breakfast because we never wake up early, but we tried the dinner buffet and it was average.
The only big disadvantage of the hotel was the staff. They weren't willing to help if they didn't had a profit of money.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant , and if I would come back to Ibiza, I think I would choose Victoria Hotel again!!!

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week long stay at The Hotel Victoria Talamanca. This hotel is rated as a 3 star but in our opinion it should be rated as a 4 star. It certainly isn't The Ritz but we feel we got what we paid for and more!
The hotel itself is situated in a quiet part of Talamanca away from the madness of the town but is easily accessible by bus or taxi. The bus stop is directly across the road from the hotel - buses run every 30 mins and cost €1.40 each way - By taxi it costs €8 and by foot it takes around 40 mins - it's a nice walk by day but wouldn't attempt it in the evening time especially if you happen to be wearing heels!
Our room was spotless and was cleaned daily including fresh towels. We were lucky enough to get a room with a double bed which was very comfortable. Our room also had an air-con (which wasn't too loud), a small fridge, safety deposit box, and a fine bathroom with power shower, magnetic mirror and hairdryer.
Front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful. It's handy to know that you can buy large bottled water at Reception as there are no shops or supermarkets around the general vicinity of the hotel. We inquired about car hire another day and the Receptionist was able to organize this for us. We were picked up from hotel by car Hire Company to collect our car and then dropped back to hotel when we left the car back to them two days later.
Breakfast was included in our package (8.15 to 11am). This was a continental style buffet breakfast and although there wasn't a huge selection - we always managed to find something that we both liked to eat. There was freshly squeezed orange juice available every morning which was an added bonus.
The bar area is directly beside the pool and at nighttime played nice chilled out music - great place for a pre dinner drink or before you hit the town!
Not a lot of Asian type restaurants around the Ibiza town or general area so if you are looking for a really good Thai Restaurant we would strongly recommend Basil Thai in Jesus (about 3mins away from hotel by taxi costing €5). We found this beautiful restaurant on our last night and were so sorry that we hadn't found it sooner. Everything about this place is superb from the decor to the food.
Back to Hotel Victoria. The only negative comment we would have to make and it really is very small but we thought it worth mentioning. On their website it states that the beach is 50m away. Ok, the sea itself might be 50m away but it's no spot for sunbathing so if you are looking for a beach to sunbathe on with sunbeds - that beach is about 10 minute walk away .
All in this entire hotel is a great place to stay and would have no trouble in recommending it to anyone.

We stayed here for my partner's 30th birthday for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
We went half-board, breakfast and dinner were both fulfilling every day. We ate lunch quite many times at the pool bar, inexpensive and tasty.
Our room had a view to the city and beach and we liked it a lot.
Room was clean and reasonably-sized.
Pool area was lovely with lots of sunshine and fun games (table tennis & minigolf).
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Lobby Internet cheap.
About 3 Km (NOT 8KM!) to Ibiza Town, bus stop really close and convenient. Walking distance not bad either, just remember to take lots of water with you!
The area is quiet, but it suited us really well, as we didn't want to go clubbing more than once ;)
If you're looking for a calmer holiday on Ibiza, we'd recommend Victoria spot on!
