We stayed with Sandy and John at Sorbietrees this year and this is now the 4th time we have come back. They are both wonderful hosts and make you feel at ease and at home straight away.
The house and gardens are beautiful and the rooms, especially the en-suite are very luxurious with nice little touches in the room. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice and local produce. This is remarkable considering you can stay here for little more than it costs down at the local travelodge!
They are very welcoming towards walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists alike and even you can even board your horse whilst you are here as they have a large stables !!
As for evening meals, the Grapes which is a short drive down the road does excellent food.
We will be back.
