“Beautiful and peaceful”
Reviewed 26 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This is a really lovely cottage in a beautiful spot. You need to be aware that it is quite remote and not in easy walking distance of pubs etc but if it's peace and quiet you want it is perfect. Very well equipped and comfortable. Only thing missing was a hair drier.

“great get away”
Reviewed 14 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This cute cottage is close to all the attractions like Hadrians wall, and still gives you the feeling of being away in the rural country side.
everything you need is there. lovely garden around the property and great place to be.
bedrooms are nice and dark at night, which was great for a good night sleep.

“Fantastic getaway”
Reviewed 11 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This cottage home is wonderfully hidden away from the main road, and you feel like you are all alone even though you are within striking distance of Hexham and Newcastle with easy driving. The home is well kept, clean and well provided with amenities. We adored it, and will return again.

I am so pleased you had pleasant stay and loved my cottage as much as I do. I find it so peaceful when I have time to stay there myself and it is so nice when guests have the same thoughts. Thank you Chris and family hope to see you again.

“Quiet and dog friendly”
Reviewed 1 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This was perfect for us (couple with a dog). Very quiet, down a track, very clean and, top priority for us, the owner allowed our dog. It has a big porch which is perfect for cleaning them off. Very easy to book. Owner responded quickly and was very helpful.

“Tranquility surrounded by dark skies”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

If you're looking for peace, look no more! This is a lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere, but accessible to so many interesting places. It's well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We didn't meet the owners, who have clearly thought of what most people will need, but entry was painless. Dark skies region and very accessible for Hadrian's wall and local walks.

Pleased you had a nice time. I get to spend time in the cottage in the winter and its just wonderful be able to leave the curtains open and have the sky and stars as your backdrop.
