The rooms are very clean and the personal very friendly. The breakfast i had was also very good and fresh. I had some business near Zurich and Spreitenbach is very central and near Zurich. The prices are much cheaper than nearer Zurich.

This hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms have laminate wood flooring in the bedroom and black laminate flooring in the bathroom which I found off-putting. The bathroom fixtures are showing signs of wear but there was enough hot water and water pressure. The blow dryer was a weird vacuum hose looking contraption and is on a low fan setting which you cannot change. I recommend bringing your own blow dryer! Except for the street noise when you have your windows open, it was quiet. The breakfast was good! Zurich is not far away. If you like shopping, Shoppi Tivoli is a 5-10 walk and there are sidewalks. There is also a McDonalds right outside the hotel.

Dear guest

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us your feedback.
We appreciate the compliments as well as your inputs to our infrastructure.

We have taken your concerns into consideration and we will incorporate them into the next renovation plans. We have already undertaken adjustments in the bathrooms by exchanging the blow dryers by new ones. We are sure you will see many improvements regarding this on your next stay.

Best wishes
Jocelyne Boss GM

We have stayed at the Arte twice now. Once in 2009 and again in 2013. Both stays were pleasant. This time we stayed for 8 nights while visiting family nearby. We stayed in Room 203. It is clean and quiet, except for the occasional low whirring of the elevator. This room faces an apartment building so it is on the opposite side from the terrace and the McDonald's.

The rooms are simple, sleek and modern. The beds are comfortable and are kitted out in traditional Swiss style with a fitted sheet and a duvet, along with a down pillow. I don't like the down pillows because I like my pillows firm, but my husband was happy with the ultra-soft down. The rooms have laminate flooring (no rugs). If your luggage is narrow enough, you can store it under the bed(s).

There is a wall-mounted flat screen tv in the room and free wi-fi (just ask at the front desk). You have a small refrigerator in your room that is stocked with mini-bar type snacks, along with an honor system checklist if you use any of the items. We simply moved those items over inside the fridge so that we could add our own water bottles, then put everything back in its place before we left.

The bathroom has a full tub/shower combination with an adjustable shower head, and a wall-mount hair dryer that looks pretty funny but actually does a good job (see photo). You also have a few shelves for storage at the desk, in the nightstands, and an open closet/cubby area that has a rod and hangers.

The hotel breakfast is what we in the U.S. would call "Continental Plus." There are a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, plus fresh breads, croissants (gipfeli to the Swiss), butter, jams, etc. They have a bowl of fresh fruit, plus a mixed fruit salad and a couple of different yogurt flavors to choose from. They also have birchermuesli, which is delicious. It's a mixture of fruit, yogurt, oats and nuts. To drink, they have milk and two juice flavors, plus hot teas and a coffee machine that makes a variety of items from espresso to hot chocolate. If you like hot food for breakfast, they also have scrambled eggs and tiny sausages.

The hotel also serves lunch and dinner. We had dinner there one night: pizza and flammekuchen. Both were very good. Thin, crispy crusts and tasty toppings.

The website explains all of the other amenities at the hotel. We did not use the bowling alley or the spa. The parking garage is under the hotel so it is protected from weather. Just around the corner you can catch a bus going toward the Shopping Center or one going toward Dietikon where you can catch the train. The Shopping Center is only about a 1/2 to 3/4 mile walk from the hotel. There are multiple restaurants and grocery stores in it, along with anchor stores and other clothing and specialty stores.

The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is that for our last morning there we had requested a very early wake up call but it did not come. We watched as the staff at the front desk entered it into their system, but the next morning it did not work. As a result, we woke up late and had to make a mad dash to the airport. Other than that, we would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a nice (budget) hotel in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the side that faces away from the McDonald's and the restaurant terrace.

Hotel Arte is a simple place with all u need.
Room are ok, people friendly, it is clean, good breakfast, small spa for free, bowling, restaurant not bad, great value for money.
Around is difficult to find such a place for the same amount. Strongly recommended!
The only thing? Pillows are really soft:)

The Hotel Arte is a nice hotel but it is expensive when its location is considered, in business area, well outside the city of Zurich. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet making it a pleasant experience. However it lacks any significant facilities other than a restaurant/bar, although it does have a bowling alley!
