This hotel is amazing! Love that so much! Very kind people, rooms very very nice and clean, brand new beds. And really love the breakfast and the distance to the sea! I can really recommend this hotel for everyone, quiet place for relaxing! the best holiday ever!

The owners were so very nice and they helped us with directions on how to get to some sights. Also, they gave us a very nice map to use. The breakfast they serve is absolutely amazing. IT WAS AMAZING! They have so much to offer and the room was very nice as well with a balcony. They have a pool that isn't on the grounds but is only a 5 minute walk on the road. The pool is very nice and clean as well.

Super friendly helpful staff. Small resort but hotel is ideally centrally placed. Supermarket 30m away - Bars Tavernas 200m - close enough - but far enough too - Sandy beach (with a few beach tavernas) about 400m away. Just a great hotel. Small friendly clean. We got a kettle (on request) loaned to us - no trouble at all - We were there 5 days May 2014 - we did have one issue with hot water - There was a problem with the system. on asking the owner about it she said it would be sorted in TWO MONTHS - we were there for only five days - At this point we were marched onto the roof to see the workmen that were "sorting" the hot water - They said it would take FIVE MINUTES - Truth was it was somewhere in between - so we had a cool shower that night and were glad of the kettle - Everything sorted next day - How very Greek - you gotta love 'em

Room Tip: We were offered the choice of rooms - but they were all about the same - There's no noise as suc...

The hotel has formally just 1 star but is much much better than most 3 or sometimes even 4 star hotels I have been to...the owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful - breakfast includes warm bites and sweets, different every day - the rooms are simple but clean. It is located directly near the main road Agia Marina, very central (supermarket, restaurant, beach just around the corner) but not noisy at all. We have been more than happy and satisfied and will surely return.

Anglela Hotel is a perfect little family hotel in the picturesque settlement of Agia Marina, in the island of Aegina. It's about 15 km from the town of Aegina (15-20 minutes by car). The owners are the loveliest and nicest people ever! And that made the difference. The breakfast was amazing, homemade, delicious, freshly cooked, with delicacies that not even 5star hotels have. Do not expect any luxurious amenities. The rooms are basic, super clean, with new beds, plasma Samsung TVs, A/C, private bathrooms, verandas, hairdryer and a mini fridge (which is actually not that mini). There are things that need improvement -such as the closets and the rest of the furniture. However, at this price, the rooms are perfect value for money. The location is really convenient, cause the hotel is right next to a super market, a bakery, many cafes and restaurants. The lovely beach of Agia Marina (which is pretty big and sandy and was awarded a Blue Flag) is merely 5 minutes by foot. You definitely need a car, if you want to explore the island. The road network is quite good. Parking in the town of Aegina might be tricky. Angela Hotel definitely made our experience perfect...simply because of its people. And on top of that, they actually let us keep the room until 4-5 pm at NO extra charge, because our boat was leaving in the afternoon. I did actually insist on paying half our rate, but Angela kept rejecting my offer (it's true!). Unfortunately, the hotel's pool was closed, cause it was mid-October. However, the beach is so lovely that even if the pool was open, we d still go to the beach. Mrs Angeliki and her daughter are two amazing ladies! Cudos for your service!

Room Tip: choose number 8! it has two verandas and partial seaview!

Ayia Marina is a beautiful town on a fantastic Greek island. Hotel Angela epitimises all that is great about Greece - friendly people, great food, and so easy to get around. We got a taxi there on the first day, but it is so easy to find - just off the main street, but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise. Angela & her family are a great team - friendly & super-helpful. The room was fine - simple, but fine. Great (free) wifi that worked most of the time. Super air con in the room & a very effective fridge, & a pleasant balcony. Only small gripe was the bathroom was very small; and there was nowhere to "hang" the showerhead when showering. Individual room safe was downstairs, with double key entry (you & Angela), which worked out fine. Food was in the form of a wonderful breakfast buffet that changed every day - coffee/juice/cereal/Greek salad & feta/yoghurt & honey/eggs/a pastry/fresh bread/cheese/ham/a variety of cakes/fruit. Then just across the road was the most wonderful pool area - posh "day beds", more usual sunbeds, sofas, cushions, a big "interesting" pool, plus a bar that served the usual drinks. And all for such great value. Top place!

Room Tip: Room 21 was fine (though bathroom small)

Stayed there on the beginning of May and although the season was just starting everything was in perfect working order. The rooms were lovely decorated, the breakfast buffett had a big variety of items each day (loved the homemade ryzogalo) and the garden is one of the best we have seen on the island. We were a company of 4 families and we all loved the hotel. Many thanks to Mrs Angela and Mrs Giota for attending all our needs.
