We found this hotel to be amazing, staff exceptionally friendly and hard working especially the cleaners and entertainment team. Rooms are very spacious, the early morning wake up call from the mosque was unpleasant but we were visiting a muslim country and after a few days i didnt hear it at all in the mornings and we were right opposite, if your a light sleeper then i would recommend ear plugs, this was the only negative point of our stay. We usually spent our day over Park alaiye because sun beds were always available, kids club, activities and food and drink are all on offer and its less crowded than the hotel. Food was good although it does cater more for german, dutch, turkish etc although we only ate out twice, we found it to be fine. The spa was fab we payed 130 lira, about £52 for a turkish bath, hot stone massage, all over body massage, skin peel and facial, we did however haggle with the price i know others payed a lot more. We were put off with the reviews about bad attitudes towards the british but this was totally non existant, everyone was really friendly.
Alanya is only a 20 - 30min bus ride away but due to it being so hot we only ventured there once. The town of Avsallar is about a 15min walk out of the left hand side of the hotel and across the road via the underpass, it has a vast amount of shops, bars, restarants, and market stalls and is definately well worth visiting. We were suprised that not many people knew about this as our rep just talk about Alanya. Immediately to the right of the hotel there are also many shops and more opening soon. There was definately a lot more surrounding the hotel than what we were told which was an added bonus. The weekly sunday market is a must and only 5 mins down the road. The weather is way too hot to be travelling on a bus to other markets further away, as they all sell the same things. The hotel and surrounding shops will accept euro, lira, and US dollars we found that we got more value in lira as opposed to euro.
All in all a fabulous holiday and a definate winner with all of us, our party consisted of 6 young adults and 4 children aged 15, 12, 10 and 5.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view are further away from the sound of the mosque prayers.

contrary to some of the reviews we read on this hotel before we went away we found it to be 1st class in every way.It was kept spotlessly clean all the time, the staff were excellent from the waiters to the bar staff. The food was marvellous and there was always a good choice to suit everyone. Each evening there was a different theme in the dining room.If this wasn't to your taste, there was a large outside barbeque area with tuna steaks kebabs, baked potatoes etc.At the main hotel was a large swimming pool.Over the top of this was a raised platform, used for sunbathing with beds & parasols and in the evening these were cleared away and live bands played for dancing.Below this platform was a games room.Access to this was down steps which split the pool in half. There was a second quieter pool ideal for children. To the side of this was the slide pool Access to the hotels private beach was down a wide path with an archway of bougavillas over and of course there was a beach bar.The kids club run by Ersin was excellent,my 6year old grandson loved it.The entertainment staff were excellent and put on some really funny shows in the evening. The hotel was at the side of a dual carriageway road where you could get a Dolmus for a ride into Alanya, these are very cheap to use.At the back of the hotel car park were some steps down which led to an underpass to park alaiye which again was ideal for the children to use as there was another swimming pool further slides and another kids club.Everyone could get free ice creams here all day. There was another lunch restaurant here. This is where the tennis courts, volleyball and beach soccer was played.Behind the park was a Mosque which was reasonably noisy when they were called to prayers but as this is part of their culture it shouldn't bother you.My party consisted of,me my wife ,daughter and 6 year old grandson. We all had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday and i would have no hessitation in recommending the Alaiye to any one

Room Tip: I would suggest you ask for a room in one of the w

Been back a week and missing it and most of the hotel workers already.we arrived 1st may at 4 am and it was the start of 1 of the best holidays weve had as a family.Rooms were great, pools and bathing area always immaculate food was lovely but they do cater for mostly other nationalies we did eat out of the hotel a few times.staff were always polite and friendly but it was the entertainment team and the bar tenders who made our holiday they were great.Alanya is only 30mins bus ride for your shopping but on the sunday there was an outdoor market across the road from the hotel thats where you get the bargins, there was plenty to do there and cant wait to go back... little tip have a peel and massage the day you get there it relax 'es you and sets your skin up for a great tan but barter with them about price and thats it .
