I stayed here for three nights and have to say it was like being at home . Sue can not do enough for you . The rooms are very clean , the bed was really comfortable and the room was big . Kettle, tea , coffee, biscuits and TV. Breakfast is great . I would definitely stay there again . Great location . Just a short walk to the Royston centre. Sue is so happy and helpful and makes it a pleasure to stay there.

I recently had to stay over in Royston on the way back from the Ely folk festival. The owner was only too happy to arrange early check-in so that I could arrive back late after the festival. The single room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the bnb. Nothing was too much trouble and the owner was very friendly.

We booked for two nights on the 24th and 25th May 2012 as a place to stay for our daughter's wedding. The owner Sue was very welcoming and nothing was a trouble. Our room was large and contained a double bed and two singles with an en-suite. The room was very quiet so we had two good nights of uninterrupted sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities were very good - they don't stint on the tea bags or coffee which is great after long day. We had the Continental breakfast option which came with a cafetiere of coffee each. We would highly recommend this B&B, it's a home from home and far more reasonable than the hotels in Royston.

Room Tip: The family room at the back overlooks the newly laid out gardens where the only noise is birdsong.

Myself and a friend stayed for one night while we went to a school reunion. Sue, the owner, was very polite and helpful and generally I found it pretty comfortable and reasonable value (compared with hotels within Royston, at least). Our twin room was on the small side, and not en-suite, but Sue mentioned this when I made the booking (fairly close to the date we stayed) so it was my call. The road outside is pretty busy, so it can be a little noisy, but after a few beers it didn't matter! If you're on a budget then I would definitely recommend it. My only advice (to the owners) would be to think about including the full breakfast in the price - a bit cheeky expecting people to pay a fiver each on top of the room price, but at least you have the choice to have the lighter option (included in the price) if you prefer.

Room Tip: Book early if you want an en-suite room

I booked this up for myself and three friends (booking up two twin rooms) as we were all coming up for a hen party. Not a problem for the lovely owner Sue.
The B&B is on the main road out of Royston (towards Cambridge) and is about a ten minute walk into Royston town centre. A cab cost us £3.40 to give you an idea!

The B&B is clean and tidy, the rooms spacious and comfortable - we actually had a large room that could sleep four - just for two of us, which was a lovely treat enabling us to get ready without stepping on each other and it meant that the other girls could also come in and have a drink with us before we could go out.
Our room was towards the back of the house and was very quiet - we had the windows open all night. Rooms have blinds and curtains, so you can have a dark room if you dont like to be woken up when the sun comes up as I dont!
Breakfast in the morning is cereal and toast, or for an addditional £5 you can have a full english on top of this - just what we needed and Sue was kind enough to make it as late as she could for us as we came home in the early hours. Sunday was late check out and we left at about half 11.

Couldnt recommend enough - would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room if they have one free

We stayed here for our sons passing out parade at Bassingbourn Barracks on the 14th May. Sue the owner was very helpful. We were comfortable in our bedroom and had a good sleep that night. After a log journey from Scotland it was very welcome.
In the morning i had a basic breakfast which was all i wanted.Sue made sure that we had enough to eat and asked if we would like anymore!!!!!!!!!! My husband and daughter had the full English breakfast which they enjoyed very much. Sue is a very pleasant person. I felt she let us treat her house as if it like being at home.

Rooms are clean and nicely decorated - the welcome is warm and friendly. If you are looking for a simple place to spend a night or two without paying hotel prices, you will not be disappointed here. It's a good idea to offer a light breakfast as I often resent paying for a full English when I just want some cereal and toast - Sue does offer this as an extra though!
