Very outdated cottages with ancient equipment. Should be refurbished. But if you accept that it looks old and you clean certain things yourself upon arrival (unfortunately that is required), it is actually quite nice. We had a 6 person bungalow for the 4 of us and that meant more than enough space. The kitchen is outdated (small fridge, no dishwashed, old fashioned coffee machine no Nespresso) but functional. Large sitting area with a flat screen TV. Good garden and nice view. Ok privacy (the cottages are attached, not detached but the next row is really close by). The best part about the park is the ParkPlaze and the socalled subtropical swimming pool. It is all very pretty, especially the swimming pool. And even when it was at its most crowded, it still felt ok. There was sufficient space and variety. The restaurants are what one expects: Standard overpriced chain fare. But it does the trick when you are travelling with kids. Very gentle staff too. The kids loved the Bollo shows and the Puk and Pelle entertainment. So, as a parent, you accept the K3 music, the kids bingo noise and the fact that your kids get made up as a butterfly or princess (which you have to take off again half an hour later at bed time0 and have a drink or two (or more).

Room Tip: There are some detached cottages but you can only book those by phone as there is no interactive map...

Stayed here 3 times now and its a very good spot for the kids especially when you get blessed with good weather.one tip though cook at home or eat outside the resort if possible as the restaurants at this landal are high price and low quality!

We stayed here for a short weekend break with our 1 year old. Booked a 2 person studio a couple of months in advance with a discount voucher. After seeing some pics of a 2 person studio we decided we needed a upgrade to a 4 person chalet for only a few extra euro's. Good thing we did that because space was limited in the 4 person chalet, can't imagine staying a couple of days in a 2 person studio, very small so not

Landal Lommerbergen is a HUGE family park and if you don't like kids in particular or kids running, screaming, yelling, crying then you will have a hard time at de Lommerbergen. The sub-tropical water paradise and the outdoor playgrounds, the childrens park mascot like Puk and Pelle as well as the childrens farm are focusing on child entertainment. More than enough to keep the children busy!

The chalet bungalows needs some serious modernisation. I mean, come on! NO oven, NO dishwasher, NO dvd player, NO free Wi-Fi, NO decent coffee machine! I know that the idea of a park like this is to spend time on the outside and at the restaurant but some basic luxury is welcome.

The park staff is friendly and helpfull, the bungalows are clean (with a few exceptions if you look close enough) I really liked the location of our bungalow nr. 111, conveniently situated with enough privacy. The supermarkt is nice and has almost everything you will need. We only tried the buffet restaurant "de Steeds" and it was ok. Nothing special really.

So, if you are looking for a family park and can deal with the "retro" not so modern, small bungalows then you and the kids will have a great time! If you are looking for a more quite and not so massive park then you will have to look further.

Room Tip: When booking a 4 person chalet ask for nr. 111. Conveniently situated, not far from the reception an...

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was ok. I agree with all the other reviews, park is great, facilities are enough to keep the children busy for the whole day. The food at the restaurants was also ok.

Chalets are rather old but for a couple of days stay, it's not all that bad. They're smaller than they look on the website but for a family of 2 adults and 2 small kids, we had enough space.

The park is huge so depending where you're staying, you might have to walk across the whole area to get to the main restaurant/playarea/swimmingpool. We paid extra to stay close to the amenities and petting zoo.

We'd go back for a short break anytime. The prices are also reasonable off season and I'm sure it's nice to stay here even during winter.

My wife and I and our 5 year-old stayed here for a weekend in mid-August. The park itself is excellent, well situated in South Limburg and close to the town of Reuver. The park is nicely laid out and the facilities are great including the sub-tropical paradise and the outdoor playgrounds. However, the accommodation we had was really poor. We stayed in one of the bungalows which appeared not to have been touched in any way since it was built. There was a stale smell in each room, and the bedroom, including the beds themselves, and wardrobe was quite damp leaving an unpleasant damp feeling and odour off previously laundered clothes.

We didn't sleep great due to constant scratching noises during the night. These revealed themselves at breakfast as a mouse repeatedly darted in and out from under our bungalow to get the tree nuts outside. You could also hear the mouse/mice running across the rafters whilst in the sitting room of the bungalow. I appreciate the bungalow is in the middle of a park and one can expect creatures and insects but this could surely be improved.

The shop on the park is good. We used the snackbar which was also good but the Italian restaurant was very moderate.

Overall Landal de Lommerbergen has great facilities but the accommodation needs major improvement. We were lucky the weather was really good whilst we were there otherwise we would have had to spend much more time in the bungalow. We were glad to leave but our 5 year-old did have a fantastic time. We may use Landal Parks again but certainly not this one.

Stayed here for a midweek (5 days) end of november/beginning of december. Started snowing while driving there, and we had lots of snow the whole week. Made everything look really pretty.
The park was pretty much deserted, just a few families with small children (not school age yet), which was perfect by us. The cottage/cabin had two double bedrooms, one bathroom and a small kitchen/living area. There was a fire place which was great and made it very cosy. Even though the cabins were terraced, it felt very secluded.
We were close to the back exit, right into the woods, which was great for walking (the dog). The 'dome', centre of the park with restaurants, swimming pool, shop etc was a few minutes walk. Restaurants were quite expensive, the shop was very complete. Swimming pool was alright (a bit too cold at the time, even though it was heated). Many great places to go walking around (most a short drive away). Close to Roermond, for some outlet shopping, and Germany, where we visited a Christmas market. Possibility for horse riding closeby, which was not possible at the time, due to the (lots) of snow. In the village nearby is everything you need, bakery, supermarkets, stores, and a market (don't remember the day).

Just got back from an 11 holiday at Landal Greenparks de Lommerbergen and we also visited a Landal park last summer (Landgoed t Loo). Both holidays were excellent and great value for money during the school holidays (if you book direct). Landal Greenparks are smaller versions of Center Parcs with a range of indoor and outdoor activities. They are car free parks (apart from arrival/departure days) so great when you have small children. The accomodation is clean, spacious and peaceful. There are a range of restaurants although food quality isn't brilliant. One slight downside is that most visitors are German or Dutch and they don't really expect English speakers. Having said that, all the staff do speak english. Finally, on both our trips to Holland we have been very impressed with the excursion and day trip options and nowhere is very far away. We'd particularly recommend The Kroller-Muller museum, Burgers Zoo and the Dolphinarium.
