If you're in the mood to try the best simple Greek cuisine, look no further. The grilled lamb ribs and salads were the type that have you licking your fingers after the plates are empty, and you're still looking for anything that hasn't been eaten yet! Super friendly services. The kind of place you'd go to a few times a week if you lived in Kastraki!

It's a sure sign that a restaurant is good....when you return for a second visit! The food was fresh and flavoursome, particularly the lamb and the owner very accommodating. We ordered takeaway food on both occasions, taking it back to our lovely hotel where there was air conditioning and no chance of someone smoking on us....a real problem in Europe.

We went to this restaurant after we got recommendations from the hotel we were staying. The restaurant was empty but we decided to give it a try. All 3 salads we ordered were not tasty and we were suspicious they were not fresh. Bread was dry like old bread. Even the chicken souvlaki was not tasty. We can not recommend this restaurant. Bad filings. Sorry.

After visiting the monasteries, we had lunch at this tiny restaurant. We ordered squib, mousaka and souvlaki (1chicken & 1 pork). Everything was great, specially mousaka. The place was cool and we got free ice cream for dessert. We paid 10€ per person including beers and cokes. A must if you are in kastraki!!
