Quaint taverna sitting across from Kastraki’s main square. Extensive menu featuring many classic/traditional dishes. I opted for the briam. An excellent choice as the eggplant and zucchini were cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. A huge chunk of feta, some fresh bread and a carafe of white wine rounded out the meal. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is quite friendly. (Note: beware of the cats begging for food outside. If you leave your table for two seconds, they will pounce on whatever food is on your plate).
