We took a two days one night taxi tour to visit Delphi and Meteora. This hotel was highly recommended by the taxi tour company we used.
We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. We had two rooms as there were four of us in the family. One of our rooms had meteora view. The rooms were of reasonable sizes. They were very clean and comfortable. The owner was nice and friendly.
Breakfast was very basic. The breakfast area was small. The was a big group of tourists appeared at the breakfast room together and so food ran out immediately before we managed to have any. So we had to wait for quite a while until those tourists finished their breakfast and left before the place got quiet for us to enjoy our breakfast.
We thought it was a nice and value for money hotel.

That is, the best value of the 5 we stayed in for views, location, staff, comfort and overall experience. The owners could not have been more helpful and their advice as to the order in which to visit the monasteries and how to beat the coach party hordes proved invaluable! Amazing views greeted us from our balcony in the morning and in the evening the local taverna 'Gardenia' which the owner recommended provided good no-frills traditional Greek fayre. We had 3 rooms for a family of 5 and our own room was large with an excellent shower and we paid a very small additional amount for the view. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Views are to 2 sides of the hotel, rear and left - don't consider staying without the view!

Meteora is stunning. But to wake up in the morning and see it from your hotel room balcony with a perfect cup of coffee; is a real treat. Very comfortable room for our only cold night in Greece. Bravo.

Room Tip: This time of year (October) is wide open and prices adjust downward.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night on a quick trip to see Meteora. We appeared to be only one of two couples staying at the hotel because it was the off season, but that didn't stop them from setting up a full breakfast in the morning. The owner was amazingly friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants and the monasteries.

One downside was that the room was cold due to the season, and the heater would turn off when you left the room because the room power was activated by the room key. Another was that there wasn't a shower curtain, and the handheld shower got water all over the bathroom.

However, the hotel was great overall and I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night as we were on a quick tour of Meteora.
The place is clean although spaces are a bit cramped. Also the walls are a bit thin so the neighboring room complained about the noise we were making. As we were a young group (excited but not rowdy), there was expectedly a bit of noise but nothing too loud. I guess it was generally due to the atmosphere of the whole area (but then this wasn't a convent, was it?)

In any case, breakfast was good and plentiful. The receptionist could have been friendlier though. In general, it was a good place to stay.

They just need to place a more visible signage outside the hotel since their entrance is not right close to the road. We got a bit lost looking for this hotel as we were driving our own vehicle from Delphi.

This hotel was in a fabulous location, particularly if you have a rental car and want to see the monasteries. Kastraki was a much quieter and pleasant village than Kalampaka, easily walkable and charming. The owners were friendly and great help in navigating the area and touring the monasteries. Our room was very compact, but clean and comfortable. there was a lovely small patio with table and chairs, The only disappointment was that rooms with a great view did not have wifi, so that piece of the experience was not available if you need wifi

Room Tip: Rooms with a good view do not have reliable wifi, so request one with a patio, if you do want wifi.

We were really impressed by the hotel, its very clean and all facilities are new. We travel a lot and comparing with other 3*** hotels I would give to Hotel Meteoritis 4+. Breakfast was very fresh, view from the balcony was amazing. If we come back to Meteora again we will stay again here.
