“Lovely cottage, beautiful views”
Reviewed 6 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Stayed a week in this cottage while doing the Munros. The cottage is perfectly laid out with everything to make a nice comfortable stay. Good location close to the bridge and 1 mile from amenities. Lovely walks to the beaches. Pity about the damn midges!

“Peace”
Reviewed 11 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A perfect peaceful hideaway with everything you need on hand. Sadly the weather didn't play the game for us to appreciate the sights but a much needed rest was had. It was a pleasure to be accepted with our 2 wee scotties and the utility room was just big enough for their cage den at night
Thank you we hope we will return when the sun shines

“Tigh Eilidh - perfect cosy cabin for two!”

We can highly recommend this cosy cabin and the hosts Susan and Duncan.
The cabin on the hill is near to Broadford but still very private with stunning views towards the sea. It's so wonderful when you wake up and take a look out from the upstair windows and see the beautiful amazing landscape of Skye with the sea and the hills.
All you need you can find at the cabin. Furnishings are very luxury and elegant.
The spacious kitchen is well equipped for cooking your own meals.
The bathroom with a bath tub and a very good shower was very clean and comfortable. The bath tub is perfect for recovering after a long day of exploring the Isle.
The whole cottage was very clean and inviting.
At the large living room with two leather sofas you can wach TV, DVD's, use the good Wifi or listen to music. We were sitting on the round dining table in the evenings and enjoyed the lovely views over the terrace at the long summer nights. It was great!
Susan and Duncan are very friendly hosts and helped with every question or problem.
From Tigh Eilidh it's only a ten minute drive to Broadford or Kyle of Lochalsh where you can find supermarket, petrol station, shops and restaurants.
Also to explore the whole isle or the area around Kyle of Lochalsh it's a great location. We had a great vacation there and definitly will come back.

The house is perfect for a stay for 2. Really comfortable and homely with high quality fittings and linens. The location is perfect for day trips around the rest of skye out Bach over to the mainland. The sea views and sunsets were beautiful. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

“Fantastic stay!”
Reviewed 5 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My wife and I had a lovely 4 night stay in Tigh Eilidh. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard, spacious for two people and very cosy with the log burning stove. Trust me we had snow at the end of April!
Our hosts Susan and Duncan were very welcoming and helpful.
The view from the house is really nice and you can get some fantastic sunsets. If you like getting out and about there are some nice walks along the nearby beach. Also Tigh Eilidh is well located if you are spending a few days in Skye as you can get to most places on the island fairly easily by car.

“The perfect explorer's base! Cosy with breath-taking views”

Simply the cosiest and most peaceful cottage you could dream of staying in. There is nothing quite like waking up to those views surrounded by absolute luxury, heading out for a day of clambering up to Old Man Storr and coming home to a toasty wood stove!

Tigh Eilidh was the most wonderful way to explore Skye and we couldn't rate our experience more highly. Susan & Duncan are the epitome of fantastic hosts and we had a truly wonderful stay -thank you both.

Perfect romantic getaway & a superb base for day trips. The red Skye restaurant just on the main road was outstanding too! Highly recommended.

“Luxurious cottage with stunning views”
Reviewed 10 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

I stayed for a few days in January and nearly didn't leave. The cottage is so well set up with everything you need and it's a lovely space just to be in. With a roaring fire, large bath, comfy bed and awesome views it was very easy to enjoy and relax in. I sat for hours looking out at the views.
As well as being lovely it's really handily situated. It's not far off the main road (yet still feels peaceful and away from it all), has lovely walks right on doorstep so you do not always need to go in the car, is within walking distance of a restaurant but is also very handy for all skye and kyle/plockton has to offer.
Susan and Duncan are welcoming and helpful hosts who delight in making you welcome and s mine of helpful information.
Although the cottage is next to their house and on their croft there is still privacy and space just to be on your own.
I cannot wait to return....
