Stayed here as a very last minute decision, rang 3 hours ahead.. got a lovely room overlooking the garden area and the water. Room was spotless, roomy, bright and did not feel like a B&B.. more like you’re own home. Our en suite was also spotless with very good shower and whole house is beautifully decorated. Richard and Brendan who run the lodge are two of the nicest hosts you could ever wish to meet, Richard made us feel completely at home when we arrived. They also bake all their own bread so the whole house smells of fresh bread day In day out. Breakfast was all made fresh to order, could not fault anything! I would genuinely stay here for weeks on end. Do yourself a favour and choose a B&B over a hotel... absolutely won’t regret it!

Discovered this gem (along with the lovely Courtmacsherry) recently. Food is absolutely fantastic, the lemon meringue is the nicest desert I’ve ever had!! Service is friendly and attentive without coming across as insincere or forced. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd stay at Travara Lodge. Brendan cooks the most delicious breakfasts we've ever tasted. My photo of the sumptuous cakes says it all about their tearoom. Richard's sharp witt, and docile Jack, the white retriever, add to the wonderful charm of the place.
Courtmacsherry is a pretty, sheltered village on the Wild Atlantic Way with excellent walks and fishing in the area.
Go here for a really relaxing break. We know you'll love it as much as we do

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in Travara Lodge recently. Richard & Brendan were very welcoming. The room was very nice with a good shower. Breakfast was gorgeous, especially the rhubarb and ginger. They also have a wide selection of their own cakes and the place becomes a tea room in the early afternoon. Jack their dog was also very friendly! Our stay was great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend a visit if in the area.
