Great food with seasonal changes to the menu. Risotto done to perfection. Prawns with chilli and garlic a must and new venison pie perfect to warm the soul on these winter evenings. Bring the kids or sneak off on your own. Delighted this restaurant/pub has been recently acquired and new life breathed into it. Looking forward to our next visit which will be sooner rather than later...

We enjoyed 2 dinners here when we stayed next door in Travara Lodge. It was great food with friendly and speedy service. We especially loved their Chowder. We'll be back when we next visit Ireland.

Having been to the lifeboat numerous times in the past and had the best fish and chips of my life there my boyfriend and I decided to try it out seeing as there were new owners. We were looked after really well by our waitress who I think is called Rachel. She couldn't have been more pleasant, helpful or kind. However she appeared under alot of pressure even though there were two other people working. When we finished our main course our plates were cleared quickly by a man assume was the manager. We were asked did we want a dessert menu, both of us said yes. However he never returned. Our waitress, again who appeared to be rushed off her feet, offered us dessert menus 20minutes after the previous offer. She promptly got the menus and took our order almost straight away. The food was OK. The fish and chips were nowhere near as amazing as they used to be and my boyfriends chicken goujons were nothing to get excited about. The chocolate pudding we had for dessert would have been nicer if it was warm and the coffee I had was weak and lukewarm.

Excellent food, drinks and service and in a beautiful location in the village of Courtmacsherry. Excellent beer. Lovely garden, right by the water. Can't fault it - keep up the good work.
