This delightful small hotel has a charm that reminds me of the best of french hospitality from way back. The room that we were given was large, slightly old fashioned but spotlessly clean and well equiped. The patron, a real character, seemed to always have a smile as she chatted non stop to anyone in listening distance. Her english was as limited as my french, but this was no barrier to her communicating her delight in ensuring that our stay was mad as comfortable as possible. There is no restaurant at the hotel but this is not a problem as there are several excellent, reasonably pricedrestaurants in the village, ranging from a creperie right next door to the hotel to a fantastic restaurant overlooking the harbour - a mere 100 yards away.
Breakfast, taken in the breakfast room, was substantial and very reasonably priced.
All in all I would rate this hotel as a hidden gem.More
