The buck hotel is very well situated in the pretty village of Reeth, unfortunately the standard of cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I found the room very dated as was the bedding. The towels had holes in and weren"t particularly clean. Had this not been a winter package deal to include an evening meal ( which was very nice but not enough veg for two people ) i would have left after the first night. I had to ask for fresh towels on the second day and the bathroom hadn"t been cleaned. Having said that i couldn't fault the breakfast.
