We spent 5 great days at Estrella Resort. This past january. We found the a frame bungalow ,roomy .And very clean. The restaurant was excellent, with a few different choices every night. The owners and staff were friendly ,but not obtrusive. Making for a relaxed atmosphere. We loved meeting the locals, and found everyone on the island very friendly. We were very happy with day trip organised at resort. And our guide was so sweet and genuine. A real treat overall

We spent 5 nights here, it is on a lovely little island where we were made to feel really welcome both by the staff and the residents of the island. It is a small island with no town, so don't expect bars and clubs. We tried scuba diving for the first time which was so much fun we did it again 2 days later. We also did snorkelling and a tour of nearby Bohol island. The beach isn't the best as the sand goes straight down to the reef, so if you want to snorkel this ok, but if you want to paddle or splash about it isn't good, though on the plus side this keeps the hordes away and you can have a nice relaxing time.

Room Tip: The hobbit house is worth a look, there are two double beds, on downstairs in the main room, and also an outside bed on the top floor which is covered from the rain but open to the wind which is good on the hot nights.

Extremely nice and kind staff, very clean bungalows set in a beautiful garden surrounding. The coral reef is really just in front. The little beach is not that nice though, but there are plenty of hammocks etc to hang out in the garden. Food is pretty good though nothing spectacular. We went off season though, when it was very empty and tranquil which much added to its charm. There is nothing else to do beyond being under water or going for little walks in the surroundings as this is a very small island with no (tourist) infrastructure. That can be a great thing or not, depending on what one is looking for.

We have planned to stay here for around 7 days but we left earlier since my wife could not bear the very basic environment any further. A request for the W-Lan key was denied in a very unfriendly way. If you are looking for a backpacker type of holiday its probably the right spot.

Located on Estrella Beach, this new resort propose room with air con or fan.
The room are big and clean, with private bathroom and have terrace on front beach.
The owners are very nice.
This wonderful and romantic place is not so far of the main street in Santa Fee.
