Very comfortable stay for a couple of nights while we waiting to move in to our new house. The rooms were clean and the pub was cosy and inviting. Shame that more people don't take the trouble to drop in. The food cooked fresh by the talented owner, was fantastic and good value too. Drinks were reasonable and the beer well kept. 100pct recommend!

Just comes back from a 2 night stay at the Bell Inn. We stayed in Room 4 which was just outside. Beautiful room, very well decorated and clean and tidy. Only moan i had was that the lead for the kettle was not long enough and had to bring the base out and put on the floor. Alarm clock with the charger was fantastic. As we were visiting family unfortunately we did not eat here but the food did look appetising. Outside was a little garden area with heat. Recommend the Bell Inn.

Fell upon this Inn whilst travelling back to Torbay yesterday, and needed lunch and a break from driving.

*. Hosts were exceptionally friendly,
*. food was excellent, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. No sticky tables, *. *. toilets were absolutely spotlessly clean

A very welcoming stop which I will use again and again when in the area.
Thank you to the Landlord and Landlady for one of the best stopovers we experienced.

My wife and I booked a table at very short notice at this historic Inn and were given a very pleasant welcome reception by Nicky who immediately offered us a well-situated reserved table and even a tasty treat for our dog Millie. We remembered our previous Sunday lunch and were equally delighted at the generous portions, including an amazing variety of freshly cooked vegetables. For pudding, we enjoyed David's homemade rhubarb and strawberry crumble with custard and left feeling fully satisfied. Will we be back? We certainly hope so in the very near future!
