“Good location and good place to stay”
Reviewed 9 March 2014 via mobile

Orient bay is a nice beach with great sun and warm water. Palm court is nicely located close to restaurants and a very short walk to the beaches. Very nice people great service and a nice continental breakfast included. The price is great. Definitely ask for a second or third story room as first floor rooms are too close to the pool and other people. There is an efficiency kitchen and you should get alcohol and snacks at the orient bay beach resort shop.... But be warned that that place is a nudist hotel. In fact, the whole orient bay beach area are clothing optional. Nothing wrong with that at all but nice to be aware of that. Overall palm court was a great place to stay!

This is a small hotel featuring a continental breakfast and a free lounge chair at Waikiki Beach., This is significant in that it saves probably $30/ day per in what are additonal costs when we have stayed at other places in St. Martin. There is a small pool area and secure parking. Make sure you say hello to Puppy, the friendly dog who resides at the hotel.

This was our fourth stay at Palm Court and there was a change in ownership the week we checked in. The only change we noticed was that there no longer was a cocktail hour around the pool in the afternoon but in previous stays there had only been four of us drinking so no loss.

Very private and quiet small hotel. It is a short walk from the beach. Large, nicely decorated rooms. Lush landscaping, nice pool. Generous continental breakfast is included. We have stayed here twice and plan to return.

This was our third stay at Palm Court. We find the location perfect and everything we need close at hand. We also think very highly of the staff - gracious and warm and always helpful. The room was just as we remembered, bright, spacious, with a Moroccan feel. There is a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and small fridge that allows you to stock things from the grocery store for those times when you want a low key meal. We've shopped at the grande Marche in Cole Bay on our way from the airport to the hotel and then the nearby Hope Estate market. Not too much of a price difference from the Dutch to French side, so make it easy on yourself. There used to be a small village market in Orient Bay, but sadly it had recently closed. We have favorite restaurants in the Orient village and also in Grand Case. The morning breakfast provided is wonderfully filling and I can tell you I miss those croissants and Julia's special cakes! Oh and we love little Puppy. She is very sweet and we enjoyed having her greet us each day. The walk to the beach is just a few minutes and it's simply the best location. Overall, I would tell anyone coming to St. Martin to stay at Palm Court. You can't go wrong.

Room Tip: Room 1 is a top floor with privacy and pool views

I recently stayed here and enjoyed my visit. The rooms are simple, but clean. They offer a free French style continental breakfast (poolside). Orient Beach is beautiful and only a block away. If you'd like to have some additional restaurant reviews around the area, check out www.gustatori.com.

My wife and I just spent a week in Room 13 made infamous earlier in Mr. Kalaman's review. We had none of his issues and in fact had a wonderful time. Alex and the staff were great and very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the short walk to the beach, the complimentary chairs and umbrella at Waikiki Beach as well as the ability to run a tab and have the charges billed to our room. These extras really helped with our goal of a "lazy" vacation. Shame the Tex-Mex restaurant closed if only because it leaves a vacant unkempt spot in the village area. The restaurants in the village area have generally good food, but are a little pricey - but again played into our goal of being lazy. We just love the easy style of Orient Bay and the convenience of everything.

We have stayed at Cap Caribes ( now Le Grand Bleu) several times but Palm Court is much better with a very clean pool, buffet breakfast and a happy hour in the pool area. Alex and the team helped us with dinner reservations in Grand Case (Le Pressoir - excellent French cuisine) and answered questions about Anguilla and local necessities like when the local Cadisco gas station closes. They also arranged for us to settle the bill the night before we departed since we had an early flight and knew traffic would be bad with the Heneicken Regatta in full swing. We were also allowed to print our boarding passes in their office.

All in all, a great experience at Palm Court, and we will stay again for our next visit to Orient Bay.

After my vacation with my son's family fell apart I found this hotel on internet and I am glad i did...I arrived way before the check-in time (3 o'clock) but Alexandra told me that my room was ready and I could get in, go to the beach, and that we would deal with the formalities after I come back. This place should be probably called B&B because you don't feel like beeing in the hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room is very nicely decorated and very clean. The access to the beach is about 3 minutes walking distance and there are many restaurants on the beach. The only problem I had was that almost none of the stores in a "village" accepted credit cards and there was not even one banking machine anywhere, so I had go to Marigot to get some money for my purchases.Coming from Canada that was a big surprise
as we are used to use our credit cards everywhere. I hope to come back one day, this was my first visit to this island and I will probably stay at this hotel again.
