We stayed at this hotel from the 27th june till the 11th of july and thoroughly enjoyed it.the place is spotless, and all the staff are so friendly and helpfull despite the long hours they work. prices are reasonable, and the village of roda is great, plenty of restaurants and bars, again, at reasonable prices. just like to thank nikos, spiros, thomson cruise (cocktail maker, barman), and the lovely girls at reception, breakfast, and pool bar. friends of ours have already booked to go there next year on our recommendation, and we hope to return soon.

Myself my partner and our 2 children stayed here 28th July for a week. The family room was a good size with a view of the garden, the pool and even a side view of the sea. It was big enough for all four of us. All the staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome.
We stayed on a half board basis. The breakfast, was good enough for us and even my fussy 6 year old found somthing to eat. The evening meal menu was a choice of a couple of starters and 2 main meals. Although not an array of choice what was offered was always delicious, maybe not for you if you prefer "good old English food". The times we didn't want to order from the half board menu we ordered from the restaurant menu at a discounted price, again everything was delicious. My daughter ordered Seabass one night and spiros came and deheaded and took the bones away for her. She was very impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. The pool was small and just the right size to be able to relax and keep an eye on the children in the pool, the pool bar served lovely salads and sandwiches. We had a car so didn't go to roda beach so can't comment on that. It looked nice though.
We generally wouldn't go back to thd same place twice, but we would Definately return to the coral hotel

A very enjoyable experience - we didn't want to leave. Very attentive staff, good food and a relaxing atmosphere. The area was quiet in early May but just getting ready for the season. The rooms were spacious and always clean.

We had a bumpy start to our stay as our room was occupied by a poorly guest who was unable to fly home, so we were moved to another hotel for the first 2 days, which wasn't ideal.

However, when we finally got into the hotel, the staff and service was excellent. Maria on reception was helpful with information for trips and even organised a complimentary transfer to the water park Hydropolis for us through the water park itself. We also organised the lazy day boat trip through her and it was excellent; great value for money.

The food in the hotel is absolutely excellent. Portion sizes were big, you would never go hungry! We were half board and there was set menu for HB guests each night for you to choose from each night with traditional Greek dishes cooked beautifully. There was always something to our tastes, however we chose to eat off the main menu a couple of times just for variety and on these evenings, we had substantial discount because we were HB guests, which was fantastic. Prices were already reasonable, but this made it even more so. Souvlaki BBQ night and Greek night are also a must. Great Greek dancing, but you got involved if you wanted to and no pressure if you didn't, which was great.

Waiting on staff were exceptional and really made our holiday. Niko, Spiros and Katerina were a credit to the hotel and they made our stay so enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always made sure your glass was never empty. Cannot praise them enough!

Rooms were spacious, we had a family room which had a double bed and a single bed which was redundant, but gave extra space nonetheless. Rooms were cleaned daily and done so to a high standard.

Location of the hotel was perfect for us. On the waterfront, but away from the centre of Roda by about 5 minute walk. So the hotel was out of the hustle and bustle of the centre (not that Roda is exactly a busy, bustling place really), but easily accessible should you wish to go in. There was a bus stop about 10/15 minute walk and you could easily get to Corfu Town, Sidari, Acharavi and Kassiopi for a fraction of the cost in organised tours. All buses were air conditioned, so even the hour journey to Corfu town was not uncomfortable. Having said that, the buses were fairly infrequent (every hour or so), so make sure you check at reception for timetables!

All in all, a bumby start, but overall the service and food are excellent in this hotel and the view out from the restaurant across the water to the Albanian mountains was breathtaking. A real relaxing break made fantastic by great staff.

Myself & my partner stayed at the Coral Hotel in Roda July 2014 for 2 weeks & I could have stayed for another fortnight! Room was spacious & modern with a nice bathroom, great shower & our balcony looked over the pool. The pool area itself was lovely & had a little bar where you could buy food & drinks all day. We were on half board during our stay & the food was fantastic - buffet style for breakfast with plenty to choose from & a set menu with a couple of choices at dinner. I'm quite a fussy eater & I found something delicious to eat every night. They also had an a la carte menu which you could also order off if the set menu didn't take your fancy. There was a BBQ every Sunday & a Greek night with dancers every Thursday night - both nights highly recommended, was great fun at the Greek night!
Roda itself is a lovely town/village with lots of bars, restaurants & little shops. The beach is very nice too & always plenty of sun loungers. There are a few tourist operators in Roda where you can book trips such as cruises etc.
This was a really fantastic holiday & I'm gutted it's over now! Staff at the hotel were so welcoming & friendly, we would definitely return to Roda & the Coral Hotel. Highly recommended to anyone!

We stayed at the Coral as our daughter was getting married in Karrousades. It was like being attached to one big happy family ! They made you feel so welcome and nothing was a bother for them if you needed anything, even the 2 cleaning ladies who couldn't speak any English, always had a smile and a Kalimera for you. The room was clean and towels and bedding changed regularly. The food is good and breakfasts are ok, maybe some fresh fruit would go down well !! Try eating at Alexandros Taverna where Antonious, Christina and Irish Lisa make you really welcome. We didn't like Oscars as they advertise fresh fish but when it came it had no taste and when asked if it was fresh they admitted it was frozen !!!! All in all it was a brilliant holiday for our family and friends that stayed at the Coral. YES, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A week wasn't really long enough to stay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and looked after. All the staff are very genuinely friendly and caring. There were two special Greek evenings during our week, both of which were great. The Greek dancing evening was particularly fab!. Especially as we got to see the dancing talents of the staff. Oh and my daughter got chosen to join in the dancing too!
The food in the Restaurant is the best I have ever tasted in all the years I have been visiting Greece(about 30 years!) We thought we would try somewhere else to eat for an evening - big mistake, it wasn't good, so decided to just eat at the Hotel. Very nice bar with great cocktails - very entertaining too!
Our room was very pleasant and clean.
Nice sandy beaches within a few minutes walk from the Hotel. Lovely shallow sea.
We hope to return soon. :-)
